Hello, for a few days now Vinted has been automatically choosing the package size when I create a listing. I put 2 small paperback books up for sale, it set the shipping to a large package, and I couldn’t change it. With such high shipping costs, customers won’t buy. Are you having the same issue? Véro
Vinted does indeed have a default choice, which isn’t always the one we want. The feature appeared a few months ago, then disappeared, then reappeared 1-2 weeks ago.
On the other hand, it’s still possible to change the package weight. Books, unless we’re talking about large art books, I still consider them « small ».
A point for Clemz’s designers: when recreating a listing, it’s important to keep the weight originally chosen and definitely not use the default weight proposed by Vinted every time the listing is touched.

I’m testing a listing via a third-party account: shipping cost for « small parcel ».
However, I can only see the settings if I try to « edit » the listing. And then, initially, Vinted sets it to « medium parcel ».
But I can force it to « small parcel », and it’s this configuration that is saved.
I’ve tried everything. Modifying the package size on a draft and uploading the listing. Taking the listing back online and modifying it to a small package several times. No change.

I sent a message to Vinted. Vinted replied that they were aware of the problem and that it was a bug. Another one, since the beginning of the year I’ve lost count. Never any apologies from Vinted, it’s tiring!!!
