Good evening, I am writing to you because I sold a collection of books (many) and the buyer chose Colissimo, except that on the shipping label it says max 2kg and the package actually weighs 18… How does this work? Will I have to pay at the post office or is it the buyer? Thank you
If it’s Shop2shop, it might be okay.
If it’s Colissimo with drop-off at the post office, it will depend on the reflexes of the agent who scans the package. The weight difference is such that there is a genuine risk they will refuse the package.
By the way, how can your package weigh so much but only be considered 2kg in the system? Unless it’s just 3 huge books, each declared as « small » in the listing, I don’t see…
I have already sent large batches, with a 2 kg format. Recently a batch of over 50 shirts. or batches of 15 Jeans. Never had any issues. via Mondial Relay.
Hello, if you asked for the postman to deliver it, there will be no problem. On the other hand, at the post office, it might not go through, because they will weigh it, so there will certainly be fees to pay or they will refuse it. For it to go through, you need to drop it off at a relay point that handles Colissimo, I’ve already done it and it worked.
