I am experiencing a persistent technical issue on Vinted regarding my location in Talasani (Corsica, postcode 20230). No pickup points (Mondial Relay, DPD) are showing on the map, or the interface automatically zooms out to the mainland.
For your information, I have already carried out all the following tests to confirm that this is a platform-side issue and not related to my equipment:
Multi-devices: The problem is identical on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Multi-accounts: The bug is reproduced on my account and those of my friends living in the same area.
Network: Tested on Wi-Fi and 5G, nothing changes.
Cleanup: Cache cleared, applications reinstalled.
The official Mondial Relay application works perfectly, which confirms that the network is operational. There seems to be a synchronization bug between Vinted and the pickup point database for the 20230 area.
Are other people in the area currently experiencing the same problem? Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Some users also had the same issue in mainland France with Mondial Relay, which was not offered to buyers, starting from Vinted.
Moreover, I had a buyer (female) this morning who made the remark that she did not have Mondial Relay as a carrier. She was only offered « VintedGo » or « Shop2Shop ».
She thought it was me who didn’t offer it, but I do, and I had another order just before and the buyer chose Mondial Relay.
Fortunately, she ordered by choosing Shop2Shop.
I can’t give you a definitive answer, but it seems to be coming from Vinted (only) which would ensure that buyers cannot choose Mondial Relay, at a given time or for certain sellers.
The mainlanders are therefore also affected by this malfunction, but randomly.
Have a very good day,
P.S.: No need to put your text in bold when you ask a question… It’s even easier to read when the text is in normal version
Thank you very much for your feedback! Your experience confirms what I was afraid of: it’s a global platform problem and not an anomaly related to my specific geographical area.
It’s reassuring to know that I’m not the only one, even though it’s very detrimental to sales. It’s quite crazy that Vinted can restrict carrier choices so arbitrarily, without warning sellers or buyers. At least your testimony confirms that it also affects continental users randomly.
I will continue to monitor, but I will no longer waste my time trying to change my settings or reinstall the app for nothing. Let’s hope Vinted stabilizes its services quickly.
Thanks also for the tip about fat, noted for next time!
Hello - problems on the mainland too. It’s been over a month since I could buy anything because the drop-off points offered, either MR or Chronopost, are several hours away from my home (I have about ten nearby). I am only offered drop-off points in other departments.
I’ve had numerous contacts with Vinted, who don’t address the issue (or rather, their bots) and claim it’s the carrier’s problem, which is false since purchases with LBonCoin are fine.
I was tired of always receiving the same standardized answer, so I gave up and am no longer buying. It’s a shame for them because I transferred 130 euros from my wallet to the bank. Normally I would have used this money to make purchases. Who is losing out in this situation?
but @mlamiche You can very well spend them on another platform from a nice Seller like everyone, serious and who will offer you great finds
(chhhuuuuutt Aco )
You are not alone, I am in Bastia and it’s the same for me.
I’m trying to contact Vinted but it’s a real dialogue of the deaf!!! We’ll have to arm ourselves with patience because they close the discussion without giving an answer!!! It’s quite surreal as a situation!!!
As a buyer, you can change your shipping option before paying for the item, in case you have changed your mind.
Unfortunately, there won’t be a possibility to change the shipping option once you have already paid for your item. In such a case, you will need to cancel the transaction and start a new one choosing the correct shipping provider.
If you still need our help, please reply to this message and we’ll be happy to assist you.
you’re unfortunately going to waste your time, because there have been other people who have relentlessly tried to get a coherent answer, and unfortunately they don’t give one
Yes, it’s apparently recurring, since I’ve tried to buy myself and have sometimes had the impossibility of getting MR.
2 days later, I tried again and I had it… so
If that’s the case, they’re shooting themselves « in the foot » because it’s a (Crap) service
