Vinted listings hidden after reporting: tips to prevent recurrence?

Hi everyone, yesterday, several of my listings on Vinted were hidden. By downloading my data, I saw that I had been reported, but I don’t really understand why. Has anyone else had this type of report or hidden listings? Do you have a tip to anticipate this or explain to Vinted in advance? How can we protect ourselves to prevent it from happening again? I’m open to your advice and feedback. Thanks!

Hello,

Yes, I had that last week, over 30 reports in a few minutes… for low-quality photos (which is far from being the case..)
1- I complained to Vinted, saying that I was probably reported by someone who didn’t like me refusing their offer or who simply has too much time to waste…
2- I managed to unmask my listings by asking Clemz, via the bulk edit, to put my saved listings back (The tutorial :right_arrow: ✍️ Modifier en masse - Clemz)

Since then… I’ve been left alone :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you Lucille!

I’m going to send a message to Vinted, I have the impression they’ve taken ads randomly…

How can I avoid reports , as soon as I start selling well, I run into a problem, either a restriction or a temporary ban..

If you have a tip for avoiding reports.. I’m all ears  even if I think it’s impossible.

I’m leaning more towards malicious people…
Good luck!

Yesterday on an account that has never had issues with Vinted, a single report for a photo taken from the web was enough for my listing to be hidden :sob:

My trick is to edit photos (color/contrast, creases) without putting them on an AI mannequin, it works well but not as well as when worn

I think account age also plays a role in this type of reporting… was it a new dressing room?

This account is 8 months old with 278 transactions, but I had the same type of issue on my pro account, which is about ten years old.

Well, it doesn’t seem to be going that well then!
