There are brands that sell more or less quickly on Vinted!
Sometimes they can sell within the evening… or take several (long ) months. (A little less thanks to Clemz )
So what are your 3 most profitable brands in your wardrobe? The ones that always work?
I’m preparing some information on the subject in the coming weeks
Like @Allie, few big brands, items of any brand but cheap mainly.
As a buyer, a lot of disappointment with brands like Nike, Adidas, etc.; they tell you it’s new without tags and when you receive it, it’s old, stained, pilled… So, it’s new WITH tags, otherwise I don’t buy anymore!!
Regarding the « verification, » I had the problem on 1 or 2 items, but after contacting Vinted saying the process had been ongoing since 8 a.m., it was unblocked, and I sold the item in the evening. And it was far from a branded item; it wasn’t even clothing!
For clothing, I have verifications with every change (even a price change), but it only lasts a few minutes.
@Allie, for me too Vinted’s « checks » take hours.
It forces me to wait and check Vinted regularly before I can use the « exchange of views » feature.
Super annoying.
Hello, I don’t have many big brands to sell, just classics like Gémo, LH, Célio, Teddy Smith, etc. If the model is still current, it will sell in less than a week, or even within minutes. On the other hand, if it’s an old model, it will take several months.
Verification is the same, I have it every time, but since I put photos of the logos and brand labels, it only lasts a few minutes. If it takes too long, it means something is not quite right with them, so now I make a modification directly, which reduces the time.
This way, the brands that sold the fastest (like posted in the day → sold in the evening ) were my stock of « Kanabeach » and « Dc shoes »… Rip Curl is also selling well.
The ones that sell for sure… Nike and Adidas.
As a little anecdote, I had a purple velvet Kanabeach harem pants, I put it up for sale a bit reluctantly, because it was one of my favorites… but… I couldn’t fit into it anymore … in a moment of despair I posted it… but I priced it very high so it wouldn’t sell too quickly in case I changed my mind
Well, it sold overnight and I had the good (bad) surprise when I woke up.
It’s the only time I was bummed to have sold something.
Kanabeach sells well, the brand closed… 10 to 15 years ago. It’s a shame, their organic hemp lines, shapes, and colors had personality.
For cycling clothes, 2 brands: Assos and Castelli.
For the rest, it’s so variable, some brands only work for a type of item, others for a size, or a cut, or a material or composition, all it takes is one color and the price drops even with a good brand, and vice versa.
Years of experience to know and evaluate the right price, and it evolves quite quickly.
A brand like ikks goes up and down.
Cop Copine too.
In the niche market, the brand Bonne gueule.
Bash, Sezane, R13 for the currently bankable ones.
