Vinted Pro: Bug during registration (postal code refused) 🇧đŸ‡Ș

Hello everyone.

I have taken the steps to become a complementary independent worker because I was selling a lot on Vinted. Here I have a lot of stock and I have absolutely no idea what to do with it. I have already incurred expenses, including registration with the BCE (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises) and VAT. I am stuck because Vinted says my BCE number is incorrect, even though it accepts my VAT number. I don’t know what to do anymore. It’s desperate.

Hello, I have the same problem with the address. How did you get the extract please

Hello,

This is a document that the UCM gave me on the day of my registration. You can also consult your public information as encoded in the BCE (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises) by typing your company number on Public Search.

I used precisely this data when I transitioned to a professional account.

After a more in-depth discussion with Vinted’s technical support, they informed me that they use a third-party database to access Belgian company information for verification and validation of the data provided in the form.

This database is not updated frequently, and as long as your company is not in this « copy, Â» your registration will not work. Unfortunately, Vinted cannot bypass this verification; they depend on their data provider.

More than 5 months passed between the launch of my professional activity and the moment my data was accepted in the professional transition form. During this period, I continued to sell with my personal account, averaging 2 to 5 items per day. On the Belgian tax side, everything was in order: declarations, VAT, etc. On Vinted’s side, I heard nothing from them during this period, despite a volume of items, relistings, and sales far too high for a personal account. I had received a warning about transitioning to a professional account from Vinted the previous year, on this same account, with much lower volume.

Perhaps my account was « whitelisted Â» by technical support? I have no idea. The only advice I can give you is to insist. Politely, constructively, but insist. Respond to their questions, even if they are repetitive or ask for information you have already provided.

It took me more than 3 different attempts, each involving several consecutive exchanges with different contacts over several days/weeks, for the issue to reach technical support, who finally gave me an « acceptable Â» answer. Following this, I informed Vinted that I had registered as self-employed because of them, and that my social security contributions now had to be paid on time; therefore, I had no choice but to continue my activity through my personal account.

As long as you have not had an exchange with technical support, continue.

Thank you for this response. I do have my BCE number, which works, but my address for them is not valid, so I cannot proceed to the next step. I contacted support, who did mention their service providers who manage this issue. However, they did not tell me when their database will be updated again. What’s strange is that my BCE number was not recognized at first. Then it was, but it’s the address that won’t validate, even though I am copying it exactly as I entered it, and as it appears on the BCE public search. My problem is that my account is blocked, and I am forced to switch to a professional account.

Hello,

You are in exactly the same situation as me.
First, the VAT number is not recognized, then the address, and now I can’t even register anymore, it tells me the service is unavailable (for 2 weeks!).

If you read the previous posts, you will understand that Vinted’s « customer Â» service does not help you at all. You will receive copy-pasted automatic responses.
This has been going on for months for me and I haven’t heard anything back.

Hello, yes I contacted them too, still getting irrelevant answers. My question is, are there any pros in Belgium? Or is it really a problem linked to Belgium?

Because paying social contributions only to lose access to your banned account and no longer be able to sell. It’s strictly useless.

Any info on the provider Vinted uses?

Hello everyone, any news regarding this issue with the address not matching the company number?

Have a good day

Hi,

I encountered the same problem, but I tried again in mid-October, and I managed to register as a pro (I had tried in mid-July, and being Belgian had really blocked everything).

Now it’s other problems
but the registration and the « pro Â» part is done for my part (loic7004 on Vinted, if you want to check)

@allezhop23 I’m taking this opportunity, we had talked about this problem, precisely following one of my posts, were you able to switch to pro? Because for my part, the BCE number no longer blocked on a second attempt a few months later. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello everyone :waving_hand:

I know this topic is a bit old, but I am currently experiencing exactly the same problem with Vinted Pro registration in Belgium.

Vinted keeps rejecting my postal code, even though my company is correctly registered in the BCE/KBO and the address is officially valid.

I have tried every possible combination (street + number, number + street, full address, short address
), but I always get the same error message.

I have also contacted Vinted support several times through the app, but I only receive generic replies and the chat closes automatically after 1–2 days, so the whole process restarts again.

In addition to that, I have sent multiple emails to vinted@vinted.fr, and every time I receive the same answer:

that they are “working on my issue”, that I need to wait, and that I should not send more emails.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed for more than a month.

If anyone has found a workaround, knows who to contact, or if there is a way to escalate this issue faster, I would really appreciate your help :folded_hands:

Thank

you in advance!

Hello everyone,

I am still experiencing the same issue with my Vinted Pro registration in Belgium, and after two months I still haven’t received any real help — only repeated automated messages asking for the same screenshots.

I have already provided:

- screenshots of the error

- my official KBO/CBE extract

- a full explanation of the technical mismatch (postal code 2100 Antwerpen vs. forced “Deurne” in the system)

To escalate the issue properly, I have now sent registered letters (aangetekende) to:

- Vinted Belgium (Brussels)

- Vinted HQ in Lithuania

I received confirmation that the letter in Brussels was not collected and is waiting at the post office until 20 May.

The letter to Lithuania has been sent and is on its way.

At this point, I really need guidance on how to escalate this further.

Is there a way for a moderator or a technical team member to review my case manually?

Can someone please help me get this issue to the right department?

My Vinted ID: mjstudio11

Thank you in advance to anyone who can assist

Just an update:

Every time I contact Vinted support by email, I keep receiving the exact same automated reply, no matter what information I send them.

This is the message I get every time:

“Hey!

Bedankt voor je berichtje.

Het lijkt erop dat we dit probleem al hebben ontvangen

Het is niet nodig om dit probleem opnieuw te melden

Bedankt voor je geduld!”

So my case is not being reviewed by a human agent at all — it is always closed automatically as a “duplicate”, even though the issue has been ongoing for two months and is clearly a technical error.
