Yes, I list pretty much the same ones. But I’m not in the clothing business like you, so for me eBay is still active, even if Vinted is essential.
With nuances, some high-value items (like three-digit prices) that will interest « big » collectors, I prioritize them on eBay or remove them from Vinted because it can quickly become annoying with ridiculous offers and the marketplace economics experts on Vinted.
For example, last week, someone was giving me a hard time about a rather rare figurine. Given how others were selling, I removed the listing and told her it was sold. What’s funny is that the person was selling some figurines that I have in stock but used, without a box, and twice as expensive, and she comes to criticize the price, there are some champions.
Logistics are fine, I just pay attention on eBay where stock errors can lead to fees. It’s just a discipline to adopt. But yes, a centralized tool would be good.
I am also on LBC (Le Bon Coin), it’s not crazy but generally at Christmas things pick up well.
Also Beebs in tourist mode, just using the listing import. Not many sales but since there’s nothing to do, it’s always a little something.
If you sell an item on eBay, you have to remove it from other sites manually. It’s a lot of work.
Not to mention creating listings twice or thrice.
I was thinking maybe of creating different items for different sites, that way, no stock issues, different audience.
On eBay, yes, you get a warning and the percentage of mistakes allowed is low if you want to remain a top seller or top reliable, something like that.
Yes, it’s a lot of work, but since it won’t happen on its own, I do it
Besides, it’s a discipline, and I often have quantities, so it’s not that bothersome in itself.
To create listings multiple times, yes, but over time I’ve developed routines and it’s fast, especially with eBay and its options (like « sell similar item »). And there’s no need to re-publish since it’s done automatically every three days, you can manage stock (so no need to redo listings) …
Beebs is automatic so not a problem
It’s only LBC that I struggle to motivate myself for
But hey, the big advantage is that when I have a problem with Vinted, at least it’s not a total stop in revenue.
yes, but before recreating posts with the same topic every time (Vinted Go, which is the same topic), it would be good to do a search beforehand, wouldn’t it?
On the Beebs app, there is a module that allows you to import listings from a closet. It works pretty well, sometimes there can be bugs but hey, since it allows you to make sales without doing anything, we won’t complain too much.
No, these are 2 different platforms.
As @Gametoysretro says, a module exists to import one’s Vinted wardrobe, but that’s it. Beebs is linked to Kiabi instead
Okay, so if they’re doing it, it means it’s possible.
Ultimately, I’d like something that links Vinted to a website, like Shopify, but I saw that every time an item is reposted on Vinted, the main website takes it as a new listing, thus creating duplicates.
Alternatively, operate in a closed loop for each sales site: management, accounting, items for sale. To consolidate everything financially in the end.
I just experienced it. I dropped off a package at a Vinted go where you have to go inside the gym to drop it off. They told me it wasn’t there. And the Vinted go is under surveillance. It’s pathetic. I found another Vinted go in my village where I hand it over directly to the store employee. But this time, I will film without any qualms.
I’m in Corsica, there’s no Vinted Go, fortunately!!!
95% of the time it’s Mondial Relay that I drop off at a shop and 5% is Colissimo, and that’s not a bad thing (I don’t like going through the post office…)
So I haven’t had any all week and it started again today.
I thought they had skipped me because the store that was a drop-off point is closing on Saturday and I don’t have any more in my town.
Now they are sending me a message « drop off your package, you have a drop-off point 6.4km from your home »
Thanks Vinted, that’s all I have to do, especially since it’s in the opposite direction and I never go there.
