This happens to me exceptionally, but tonight I’m putting two strictly identical items up for sale on Vinted.
You can’t indicate on the listing that you have multiple copies. How do you proceed in this situation?
either sell them one by one, or make an announcement for a lot of 2 items and state in the announcement « can be sold individually ».
Personally, at one time, I indicated in the announcement that several copies were available and I was never bothered by Vinted. I stopped, but more out of fear of reports. And in the end, I noticed that by re-publishing after a sale, people often contact me to know if I have several copies and cancel their purchase to make a lot.
Hello,
1-/ I repost an ad directly when the item is sold.
By the way, there are extensions that offer this functionality, and I’m sure @Clement has put it on his long list ![]()
The difficulty is managing stock when you have several similar items. (when there is no extension for that
)
2-/ I create several different ads (Photos, title, description, and even price), staggering them by a few days. (not at the same time)
Here, you don’t have to manage stock, they are online.
It’s as if they were different items.
By the way, you will see that you don’t get the same favorites or number of views, and that it’s not necessarily the one with the lowest price that sells first ![]()
I make several photo prints, as if they were different items, regardless of the choice.
Thank you,
I chose the second solution, because otherwise, as you indicate, the difficulty is managing the stock.
