I’ve been struggling with Vinted for 1 month and 1 week:
-12/09/24: I paid for an item on sale (over €300);
-the seller wrote « RESERVED » on their listing;
-from this « RESERVED » status, neither the seller nor I, the buyer, received the usual Vinted information (item sold; prepare the package; we are preparing your package; it has been sent, etc.);
-everything got stuck AFTER the « RESERVED » status;
-the transaction could therefore not be finalized;
-only automatic messages from Vinted!
-Vinted is not refunding me!!!
I sent them messages, photos of my bank transaction, photos of message exchanges, etc.

I have been on Vinted for years and have never requested a reservation: the buyer did.
It has been 1 month and almost 2 weeks since I asked Vinted for a refund. They have kept my money, transferring it from my bank to their account Mgp*Vinted Vilnius.
It is still €317, so I cannot let it go.
How can I resolve the situation and therefore obtain the refund?

The seller did not modify her ad.
As a precaution, I imagine, she just added « RESERVED » after she knew (from me) that I had paid; it’s all the more silly because to reassure her, I had sent her a photo of the payment (I have my online bank account), to which she had replied « thank you and that therefore, from then on, we had to wait for the usual Vinted instructions… » Lovely!
I sent dozens of messages, clarifications, dates, photos of each step, of my bank account… The answers are automatic and no one is solving the problem.
I just want to be reimbursed… because it’s a significant amount for my budget.

What I don’t quite understand in this situation is that once an item is sold, the seller cannot modify its listing. (It would be too easy otherwise to mention holes/stains and change the condition after purchase…) and that once a sale is made, the shipping label is automatically generated.
Hello, the seller did not modify her listing. When I told her and sent her a photo of my payment made immediately after clicking « buy », while waiting for the usual Vinted information (« you have 5 days to ship », etc.), she thought she was doing the right thing by clicking on « reserved ».
As a result, Vinted’s automation did not take my payment into account (made immediately) and waited for the payment to be made within the 5 days of « reservation ».
So my money, transferred from my bank to Mgp*Vinted Vilnius, stayed there! It remained in the Vinted account!
I want to get the €317.79 back, of course.
It’s been 5 weeks that I’ve been battling with the platform.
I can’t find a solution!
Either I receive automatic messages. Sometimes it says: « we cannot find the transaction ». Of course the platform doesn’t « find » it since it wasn’t finalized!
So I don’t know what else to do!

hello, honestly: not very clear. you’re talking about ‹ taking photos ›… but for what purpose, everything is automated, reassure me, did you pay via Vinted? if so, the shipping label is available from the seller, Vinted is informed of the payment and blocks the sum until receipt. the seller CANNOT: ignore that they received a sum, not have a shipping label, change anything or mark anywhere: reserved. if the transaction was not finalized on Vinted, it means that your bank probably did not accept it. anyway: legal@vinted.com. send an email (in English: 2x faster processing) with all the documents concerning this payment.
