Time required for view requests

Hello,

I have two active accounts, and I consistently notice a difference in how view requests are handled. On one account, the request is sent immediately.

On the other, it remains on « sending in progress » for 30 to 60 minutes. The time countdown even tends to increase or jump. For example, just now, it went from « time remaining = 17 minutes » to 18 minutes, then to 12 minutes, during Vinted’s automatic page refreshes (1).

Yet, both my accounts have been active for several months, so it can’t be a matter of « account too new to receive views. »

Perhaps a bug somewhere?

(1) Super annoying, by the way, is this Vinted configuration that launches an automatic refresh every two to three minutes. When you want to display your entire wardrobe, you can’t, or only very briefly.

So the sending of views is launched automatically in the background when you navigate on Vinted.
So that’s what explains why sometimes, the demand for views is almost instantaneous: the views were sent before.

As for the time countdown, it’s an estimate, so yes, it can indeed jump… the important thing is that it lasts « about » the displayed time :slight_smile:

For Vinted’s automatic refreshes, if you want to display your wardrobe, I recommend using the smart wardrobe: it helps to avoid that! :slight_smile:
