Restriction / Ban on commercial sales in pro

A quick message to inform you that my professional account has just been restricted for « commercial sales »… the irony.

I sell authentic, second-hand products while respecting their terms and conditions.

When downloading my data, I was surprised to discover that I had been reported 25 times for « commercial sales » in just 2 minutes. I had already experienced other attempts of the same kind at the beginning of the month that had not been « successful » – I just saw that now.

This is completely absurd. Today, it seems far too easy to get an account removed through abusive reports: a competitor, or simply someone who dislikes an account, can report it en masse, and that’s enough to get it penalized. And presto! You reduce competition without even properly verifying the situation.

What does Vinted plan to do to stop this kind of drift and actually verify each issue before applying sanctions with potentially huge consequences for the sellers involved?

1 second = 5 reports… this human is very powerful.

I just had an idea, the reports are surely coming from a bot, so either an external third party or Vinted itself is reporting the listings, and if several are reported = ban/restriction. Possible? But why do that since we are professionals and the product does not go against the T&Cs, if the listing were problematic, another reason would be chosen?
