Which printer for your Vinted shipping labels (thermal or classic)?

Hello everyone!

For almost a year now, I’ve had a thermal printer… and it greatly simplifies my daily life!
I’m curious to know who among you also has one?

  • I have a thermal printer
  • I’m still hesitating
  • I have a classic printer
  • I have a thermal printer and a classic one

I chose a Munbyn model, did you choose the same brand? Or another?

Also, tell us if resizing shipping labels via Clemz works well for you or if you’re encountering any issues!

Thermal printer here too, Phomemo.
Resizing receipts works great :+1:

I realize that resizing shipping labels is not always optimal on Clemz. This can create labels that are smaller than they should be and therefore potentially harder to read or scan!

Who else uses this feature? I’m open to your feedback!

Personally, I invested in a used Zebra ZP 450 during the holidays. It’s a thermal printer from 2008, still assembled in the USA, known for being indestructible. I got it for €65 including shipping, with 4 rolls.

Setup proved very simple. For resizing, I’m currently using Acrobat Reader. I need to look into setting up a script to automate this task eventually (which would handle different formats by supplier/platform).

I have the same Munbyn model in white, it’s very practical.

I much prefer thermal even though I have an extra economical laser printer, thermal is my definitive choice, too comfortable.

I specify that I know how to modify print settings on Mac, if the barcodes are too dark/light, if that interests anyone.

I have an HP printer with an Instant Ink subscription. 100% of my paper used is from a first use, and I only use half of it, so no sheets bought in 3000 packages sent over 10 years  (Vinted Leboncoin and others)

Hello Clement, on Colissimo waybills, the item name appears on the waybill and not on the outside. This is inconvenient for me because I prefer delivery personnel not to know what is inside the package.

I’ve had a Phonemo thermal printer for a year and I’m happy with it. It’s much more practical than a standard printer, especially when you have limited space :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Resizing works well except for one specific label, I know it’s for Mondial Relay, the one in horizontal with 2 barcodes, so for abroad, but if I’m not mistaken, depending on the country, they are not necessarily the same, I think it’s Ireland if I’m not mistaken, the label comes out cut, I had to print it separately, every time, I was wondering if it was related to the printer or to Clemz.

So I use it, but using a standard printer (but Tank, it costs nothing in ink) to only print the slip. For me, it’s perfect like that.

Don’t you want to go through Clemz?

Thank you for this feedback!

Could you please send us a screenshot by email? Or let us know which sale it is? bonjour@clemz.app for the email address :slightly_smiling_face:

Is it possible to cut off the top of the label without affecting the information on the slip?
Could you please send us a photo of the result by email? bonjour@clemz.app
Thank you!

Yes!
with the resizing now on Clemz it’s even faster!

For those who own a standard printer, AND if you are using Clemz’s sales module (available in all subscriptions and on the free trial), it downloads your shipping labels for you and allows you to print them in « ink-saving » mode.

:right_arrow: Only the label appears on the A4 sheet and no longer all the other text (including ads) :slightly_smiling_face:

The documentation will be updated on this subject

I just tested it and it’s great, plus the article titles are well outside the borders. For me, it’s perfect.

top thanks for the feedback!

I’ve been searching in vain for the function… I do have a button to get the slip, but it gives the same as on the Vinted messaging, with the advertising.

Hello Faune,
You need to click on the « Downloads » button in the top right corner. This is where you will have the choice of format :slightly_smiling_face:
