Visibility issue

Hello,

For the past few days, my views have been restricted, very few favorites, and no sales despite a showcase boost.

Are you experiencing any issues with your accounts? I am a Pro user.

Thank you

Same problem here, I have 3 personal accounts:

  • The first one that got the 5-day suspension during last week’s wave → 50% visibility drop
  • The second one that also got the 5-day suspension → 80% drop
  • The 3rd one that did not get suspended last week → no noticeable visibility drop

It’s difficult to explain the difference in the drop between the 1st and 2nd.

Thank you for your response. On my pro account, I haven’t received any restriction messages, but I’m experiencing a huge drop in visibility. Perhaps it’s due to deletions and reposts, but I used to do more than 10 per day… It’s really difficult to understand how they work… And I post about 8 new listings per day, except on weekends.

Do you have any tips?

Not really, but in terms of volume, I posted 50 articles in 48 hours on the 3rd account and I didn’t experience any drop in visibility.

Hello,

If I understand correctly, your first two accounts lost visibility after the restrictions?

Yes, that’s correct. It’s been 3 days since the restrictions were lifted, but I still feel a drop in visibility/sales compared to before the restrictions.

Hello, I thought we were only entitled to one account. Or did I miss a change in the terms?

I am associated with 2 people, so we each have 1 account, but we manage them all together.

Same: 3 account restrictions since mid-January due to reported AI photos, since then a drop of 50 to 80% in views… We are observing, I think we need to keep a « very low profile Â» for 30 days, and it will come back!

Annoying, very annoying…

no reports, no blocks and I am -70% of sales in February.

recurring problem among professionals. I don’t want to scare you, but it’s been going on for me since last March

yes, that’s systematic, it takes a little while to get going again. It’s been a long time since I had restrictions, but generally, between the block, the verification time, and getting going again, it’s easily a week lost.

I don’t know if pro accounts are much more impacted, but given that searches are completely bugged, the drop in visibility affects everyone

In any case, when I test with my character, I have much more visibility than with my pro. And it’s a recent account so no followers and 50 reviews.

I find this month of February particularly strange, Thursday a lot of favorites 7 sales, Friday a little less favorites 4 sales, today Saturday 9:30 p.m. at the time I’m writing this message almost no favorites, several hours without favorites even 0 sales. Last week it was the same, is it random for you too?

It would be necessary to scrape Vinted to know the number of professionals in France. I would say 1 in 1000 accounts.

The professional account is just to be in compliance with the law. I think it’s more of a hindrance for Vinted, because it’s immediately much more annoying to manage than individuals.

So, it’s better to disadvantage them, discourage them. them = us

As I’ve already said, if they don’t want it but are legally forced to do it, they should set a subscription fee of €50 per month and 20% commission, and they will disappear from the platform.
Especially since next year, the withholding at source of social contributions for micro-enterprises is coming, so it’s going to be funky with them.

I don’t think they would all leave. And then you also have individual accounts or behind them are professionals (few hide it to say they have 2, 3, 4, 5 accounts. Unsolvable problem apart from « officializing Â».

In fact, whether you have 1 or 10,000, the obligations will be the same.

Either like in physics: the law of all or nothing. 0 or 1. We are not in Schrödinger’s cat paradox

There wouldn’t be many left because they don’t have any real big sellers like there can be on Rakuten or eBay. But yes, it’s unsolvable, so we might as well accept them and leave them alone. In fact, it’s hell to work with them.

Yes, it’s very stressful. This is how platforms are going to work. It’s no better for Amazon, and companies are more important than individual sellers, publishing houses, etc.

There’s this on their website:

  • Efficiency of the internal complaint processing system for Pro sellers

In 2024, Vinted received 83,014 complaints from Pro sellers. The average complaint processing time is 2.7 days.

    Complaints from Pro sellers:

    Breakdown by type:

    • Shipping and delivery: 32,719
    • Payments and security: 30,154
    • Transaction quality: 12,225
    • Ease of use: 4,899
    • Catalog items: 2,539
    • Other: 478

    Over 83,000 in 2024, I think that’s a lot.
