New Vinted T&Cs

Hello everyone,

I’m brand new, signed up on Friday, and I have to say I’m more than delighted. It’s simple to use and above all, it works very, very well (minimum 2 sales per day  ).

I’m therefore considering subscribing to the intermediate plan, which perfectly suits my needs and is ultimately much cheaper than Vinted’s « showcase dressing ».

However, one question is bothering me. I signed the new Terms and Conditions, and it clearly states that mass republication of listings is forbidden under penalty of being banned. So the question is: will Clemz still be as effective and avoid being tricked by the algorithm and, of course, being banned?

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to your feedback to decide whether or not to continue the Clemz adventure.

Have a great evening, Neitste

Yes, and I saw that too, so well, I’ll redo it one by one, otherwise yes, be careful, Vinted has redone the terms and conditions in their own way again, I think especially that France sees their scams and France is slowing down, we were the first in second-hand and now we are all realizing the scams, so we don’t buy much anymore, in your opinion, why did they choose Italy, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands because in France they are losing and a lot, when I see the photos where they have fun buying on Shein and Temu and reselling for triple the price, Vinted is more credible, it’s pathetic

Not at all.
The leading country for sales on Vinted is France, both in terms of user numbers, volume, and growth.

6th most visited site in France

The problem is more with bots like v-tools, which buy everything in seconds. And it’s very annoying.

And an effort on your post writing wouldn’t hurt.

Hello
Welcome to the forum

Regarding the new Terms and Conditions, there is no change concerning the use of any « external software »: they clearly prohibit it.
We have written a post about the campaign led by Vinted, here :right_arrow: Campagne "anti-bot" de Vinted - état des lieux (28.07.2025)

Hello, so your orders and your reproaches, I don’t care about them. What matters is helping people, so don’t panic. How many times have I heard people talk about spelling and not about the help provided, and no, France is no longer within their reach. So help people and keep your criticisms. Here it’s about help, not reproaches, thank you. So speak differently.

Thank you, I read the article and I am reassured!

Hello Sandrine,
The request was made correctly, there is no point in getting upset. Respect goes both ways.
As requested in another post, some answers are difficult to understand. The forum must remain a place for proper, understandable, and respectful exchange.

It’s just that we can’t understand you, that’s all.
So much aggression in your words. I’m passing this time.

Otherwise, are there any really new things in these T&Cs? I skimmed through quickly (it would be simpler to just add an addendum with what’s changing).

On Facebook, I saw a user reporting that they no longer have « New with tags » but « Like New » now, the appearance of bulk discounts for professionals (HELP ………..) but not everyone would have the change.

Here are the main changes:

No info on the pros

Yes, I saw the like-new when creating a draft and then it disappeared on the next draft

Regarding the bulk function for pros (which was already added and then removed last year): when I lower the price of an item, I do see the link to set up discounts, but once the page is open, it’s grayed out…!

I love Vinted deployments

Usually, there’s a deployment of bugs that comes with it, just to be totally funky.

They are capable of making « New » listings invisible until it’s replaced by « Like New ».

I don’t have « like new » appearing in my choices. Another test reserved for some?

Hello, surely because I saw it when creating an article about the application (it was in place of the unlabeled nine) and on the following draft it was no longer there!

Hi - In my opinion, « like new » should replace « new without tags, » which is used indiscriminately. On the other hand, an item with store tags is indeed new. Of course, if it has been stored in a closet, it may be slightly faded, but it is enough to mention it in the description.

Yes, clearly. But there are still several things to point out.

First of all, this story of labels is still specific to clothing, but Vinted has diversified a lot, so it no longer really makes sense to use it on all categories. Like the ages of clothes that we have to put on things that have nothing to do with it.

Then you need to know that Vinted is out of line (they are not the only ones, almost all of them do it) by allowing individuals to display NEW. Only professionals have the right to do so in theory, and the condition of the item is not the only criterion. From the moment an item has been purchased from a professional structure by an individual, it is considered second-hand even if it is unopened or unused. Hence the « like new » on some platforms. Just as an item can be sold new even without its packaging (or have been unpacked) by a professional.

A telling example. At one point I had a good deal to get an item and I realized that a store that bought used items bought them back for more than I could resell them for. Well, I brought the items back in their original packaging, the store (which I know well) took them back without any problems and they put them directly back on sale in the used bin as is. It’s even funnier because they themselves were selling the same item as new in the same aisle and they are well known for selling unpacked items.

It’s like a car bought from a dealer, it crosses the threshold and it’s used with a 20% price reduction.

anyway Vinted is not clear about this story of New and pros.

They allow them, but not totally and without clearly indicating the limits. If they don’t want new items, that’s not a problem. They should ban it clearly, delete the accounts that circumvent by listing items as very good condition, and they will sell on another platform, it’s not a big deal in itself.

But by allowing new items AND pros, they can only create complicated situations.
