I would like to buy some boosts on Vinted and I was wondering if they are effective on listings posted several days ago? Or on more recent listings?

Given what I read about boosts and the price they cost, I have real doubts about their actual profitability. It’s better to pay Clemz to do regular republications and get views/favorites to appear well in the search engine.
I would also add that boosts might have been relevant at the beginning of Vinted, but naturally, if everyone boosts, their effect is mechanically canceled out. After all, I’ve never tested it (not seeing the point), it’s just an opinion.

The question is interesting and in my opinion the answer is: regardless of the announcement date, Vinted’s (official) boost will be effective because your ad will be displayed at the top of the search results. So your item will gain visibility, that’s for sure.
However, it is relatively expensive and there is no obligation of results: whether your item is sold or not, you will pay.

also be aware that if the buyer returns the order or does not collect the package, the boost is lost, Vinted does not refund it

regardless of the ad’s age, the boost will clearly show you in the stats the number of views before/after. basically, between 1.8x and 2x visibility for an ad that is still well-placed, and 3x or even more for an old « buried » ad. in short: the boost is effective, but the fundamentals remain the same: attractiveness/demand for the product/brand, price positioning, quality of photos and the ad. the boost can do nothing if your ad is average or incomplete.
