Hi!!
Vinted has hidden several of my listings because of AI. I came across a post from a moderator who said that when it happens to her, she simply re-publishes the listings by putting a different AI photo (or something like that).

Question 1: Do you continue to put AI photos as the first listing photo?

Q2: Even if you’ve had listings hidden etc., do you still continue via reposts or just by changing the model for the AI photo?

Q3: Do you use Gpt or Gemini? If so, do you advise me to continue and ask to add a slight grain to avoid the « too perfect? »

Q4: Is there a risk of getting banned for this, or is it « just » hidden listings until you re-upload photos?

When that happens to me, I ask Clemz to re-upload my saved photos, via mass modification, :right_arrow: https://www.clemz.app/documentation/modifier-en-masse#saved-photos and it works.

I continue to upload them, yes, after several republications. On the other hand, I don’t modify the AI photo
Regarding the risk, I think it exists, yes, Vinted is banning left and right at the moment, but I have no idea if it has already happened.

That works, thanks for your answer! So if you haven’t had any feedback about it, I’ll try again tonight on 3/4 items, no more, so that it helps to move quickly! And for your information, apparently Gemini leaves traces while ChatGPT leaves much less, so I recommend using GPT more often.

But hey, if the only problem is a simple masked ad, that’s reassuring! I’ll try again tonight to do it via AI :robot:

I’ve just had to pay for some AI photos

I managed to get the last ban lifted, but indeed their system, I think as soon as they get on your back, they don’t let go.

Beyond the ban issue, from what I read all over, people don’t really like AI photos on Vinted, so it’s best to avoid taking risks.

Yeah, personally, AI is finished for me; people hate it and don’t hesitate to report it! Since I stopped using it, I haven’t had any reporting issues.

I have never used AI for Vinted, too many risks. Already, when you are honest and do nothing wrong, you get banned, so with AI… too little chance, personally.
