Hello,

I have disputed it, have you had similar cases before?
Good evening

Good evening
Hello!
For some it was an In extenso sweater or a Pimkie skirt. There are reviews in this direction here: Ban sur Vinted: liste (non exhaustive) des cas de figure déjà rencontrés
Thank you
I hope I also have a positive outcome
I’ll keep you informed
Hello,
I filed a dispute and received an automated message saying they had 120 hours to respond. And still nothing..
Should I harass them and if so, how? Via the Vinted messaging system or by email?
Good evening
Hello
yes, you have to keep pushing them, I was stuck like you, emails every 2/3 days, reports on the app also, and consumer protection warned, with photos of the item, description, … instead of 120 hours, it took 3/4 weeks … but don’t give up when you are in the right
Thank you for your feedback, which email address did you use for the emails?
Have a great weekend ![]()
Hello
legal@vinted.fr ; dpo@vinted.fr ; vinted@vinted.fr ; vinted@vinted.com ; privacysupport@vinted.fr
And be factual, with a clear message, with photo evidence (inner garment labels, measurements, …) requesting your case be reviewed and processed by a human
and don’t forget to use signalconso
good luck
Thank you very much, happy Sunday ![]()
I sent reminder emails, here’s what I just received:
Good evening,
Thank you very much for your message.
I wanted to take a moment to respond to you personally. Please know that we have taken the time to carefully re-examine your case. We have reviewed the situation, and our decision remains unchanged.
While I would have preferred to offer a different solution in other circumstances, I am bound to follow these guidelines to ensure consistency in our processes. I sincerely understand the impact this may have on you, and I always strive to find the fairest solutions for our community.
We cannot take any further action on this request. If you need assistance with another issue, please open a new request, and we will review it separately.
We understand your disappointment, but hope this clarifies our position.
Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
I received the same response… Vinted respects nothing, it’s factual, pure selfishness and capitalism
That sucks, it’s really unfair.
I send them emails every 2 days, a last response from 4 days ago says they have requested a re-evaluation of the situation with my new photos (which are the same)
For consumer complaints at the end of the form, they say they will do nothing because the company is based in Lithuania. It’s the ECC that needs to be contacted. European Consumer Centre.
I didn’t think this would take so long for a Zara jacket!
Good evening,
I got my account back today.
After 3 weeks of emails and messages with no response other than automated ones.
Last night I made a report on SignalConso and received a message today that Vinted had received the report, and my account was unblocked shortly after without any message from Vinted.
My mistake 15 days ago, during the first report, I had indicated Vinted FR and it had suggested Vinted in Lithuania, SignalConso only handles French companies. So you have to choose Vinted FR and Vinted SASU in France.
Good evening
A friend (pro) also got banned in early July for counterfeiting. He was also unbanned today, but he didn’t take all the steps you did at all.
So I don’t think the SignalConso report had anything to do with it. But it’s always good news to see accounts being recovered!
Hi,
Yeah, we’ll never know.
I received an email the same day from signal conso reporting that Vinted had received my complaint.
Yesterday, a message of apology for the mistake from Vinted.
It’s been 2 days that I’ve been re-uploading with Clemz and no 24h ban (my wife’s gets banned again every day).
Have a good day
I had exactly the same thing today, account blocked because of a Zara jacket that is perfectly authentic… Vinted is really ridiculous!
Hello everyone,
Same here, permanently blocked for a jacket from the brand Boden… counterfeit even though it is obviously authentic. I have appealed. Can a consumer complaint speed things up, or should I give up on my pro account in your opinion?
Good evening, as secondhand said, when you are in your right, don’t give up.
Follow up every 2 or 3 days.
And make a report to signalconso if after 120 hours there is nothing.
Blocked for 3 weeks on my end but at least I got it back
Thanks for the response.
I’m not going to give up. They banned me for a counterfeit that isn’t one, I’m waiting to see if they respond within 5 days (yes, I’m optimistic
) and I’ll file a consumer complaint plus a follow-up. What I don’t understand is that the item had been in my closet for two months… I didn’t republish it… it doesn’t make any sense. Why today? Anyway… I’ll keep you posted.
Zara, which is already copying designer pieces. We criticize Shein, but Zara does the same thing. Their marketing is very strong. They have managed to make people forget it. Wouldn’t your article resemble an iconic designer piece?
Hello,
A quick update as promised. My account has been unblocked. Vinted acknowledges the error… I’m certainly not going to teach you anything new, but here’s what I did:
1/ Immediate appeal with photos and analysis of authenticity (done by myself) and request for reassessment. I responded within the hour to the blocking but without rushing. I took new photos of the seams and labels. I checked how to ensure the authenticity of the item in question and highlighted everything that facilitated the review. I requested a reassessment by a specialized human agent (I received an automated response in return).
2/ 5 days later (within the timeframe I was asked not to follow up), Vinted email (not threatening, asking for reassessment by a human agent and highlighting the real prejudice suffered, reiterating the initial points). I added more photos and all new supporting evidence that substantiated the authenticity (comparison of online product labels vs. mine, etc.) => we are at D+6
3/ Consumer complaint immediately after, reiterating that this error was penalizing my turnover. => D+8
It was my second email that triggered a response after 5 days. I was told to wait, that my case required in-depth study and had been escalated (it wasn’t exactly that, but it’s what I understood from the email). => D+13
I received an email from Vinted 6 days later stating that it was indeed an error and thanking me for my patience
=> D+19 approximately
Two and a half weeks, almost 3… and nothing is won yet, as I think my trust score is impacted… it’s possible my account could be suspended again…
