Hello, I first disputed via messaging and sending 5 photos (requested by Vinted). Then Vinted asked me for other photos because they couldn’t make a decision. I sent 24 photos!
I also sent emails to support and Vinted but I don’t think it helped much. But it’s a relief. ALL my messages were written by AI, it allows for a more professional tone, less emotional, less angry.
I don’t think there’s a magic formula. A friend who is a professional seller had his account blocked 12 hours after mine for an item that is counterfeited much more often than mine, he only needed 5 photos and he was unbanned 5 days before me.
This leads me to believe that if an item is « known » to the system (like a PSG football jersey), Vinted can easily make a decision. If an item is less known (perhaps like your New Balance shoes) and it’s detected by bots, humans struggle more to authenticate it and in the worst case, when in doubt, they will stick to the bot’s decision

Vinted clearly told me that it’s an automatic detection. Furthermore, all the photos of the labels are visible and, once again, this is absolutely not a jersey that is being counterfeited!

But it’s a real pain and with the bots it’s a complete mess.
It’s not just the robots. People - or the Vinted public - are dishonest and twisted. Certainly the platform’s configuration cultivates people’s dark side (scams, whistleblowing, etc.).
