I’m posting here to get some feedback from your experiences.
My professional Vinted account has been permanently blocked for « commercial activity, » even though I am registered and my business is legal.
Before this block, I had a 7-day restriction. I followed all instructions by deleting over 1000 listings. After the restriction was lifted, I significantly reduced my activity (only 11 listings posted in 5 days).
Despite this, my account was permanently blocked without a specific explanation.
I wanted to know:
Have any of you experienced a block for « commercial activity » as a professional account?
Have you succeeded in an appeal that resulted in the account being unblocked?
If so, what specifically worked (email, specific contact, formal notice, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for your feedback, it would help me a lot
Hello, yes I understood that, but selling second-hand clothes. Can I transform my personal account into a professional one with the same SIRET? I have been blocked, thank you
To understand better, what exact reason did Vinted give you when they blocked your account? Was your account personal at the time or already PRO?
I ask because these are two different situations. If it was a personal account, we would need to know if Vinted blocked you because they considered you were carrying out commercial activity and required you to switch to PRO. In that case, you can convert it without problems.
If it was already a PRO account, then the problem could have been that you were selling jewelry, as this is a category that Vinted does not allow professionals to sell. And in this case, I wouldn’t know how you could proceed.
Have you tried to appeal the block and explain to them that you want to stop selling jewelry and dedicate the account solely to selling secondhand clothes? If the block on your personal account was due to commercial activity, you might be able to solve the problem by converting that same account to PRO and removing the items that are not allowed.
Another option would be to open a new account with a different phone number, on a different device that has never had Vinted used on it, and without using the same Wi-Fi network. This has worked for many people.
In which case you could use the same ID (but as I say, this is what I’ve read in photos and groups that it has worked for them, but I don’t really know if it’s possible) because, if I’m not mistaken, identity verifications are carried out by an external company called MangoPay.
The only drawback is that Vinted is already starting to implement its new company, Vinted Pay, and they might detect that you have opened another account there. For the moment, it has not reached Spain, but I don’t know if it is already operational in other countries.
Did they tell you that you should go PRO when they blocked your account for commercial sales? Because if so, you don’t have to wait 6 months or create another new account.
I have had a personal account for a very long time.
Then I opened a business account for jewelry sales, which lasted 5 months, then a warning, then the account was closed. So I want to transform my personal account with the same siret if possible.
