Pro account blocked due to "offering for commercial purposes"

We have identified that several of your items appear to have been listed for commercial purposes, which violates our rules.
Despite the 5-day period granted to remove these items, some remained online after expiration. As a result, your Vinted Pro account has been suspended for 7 days.
The unblocking is scheduled for 07/13 during the day.

So on Pro we can’t sell for commercial purposes?
And the 5-day period, didn’t even get a warning…

In the meantime, I cannot ship my orders and the sales are canceled…

Hello, exactly the same for me, Pro account, « commercial sales », no warnings, account blocked.
Only automatic replies, by email or support, but no solution.
I even received a response asking me not to sell commercial items or to create a Pro account. (Even though I am already a Pro seller)

In short… I have no other solution than to wait, but I would like to know what caused this ban.

And I cannot edit the delivery notes, so no shipping, therefore negative reviews…

If you have a CRM for order management, I advise you to get into the habit of downloading the shipping slip as soon as a sale appears.
This way, the shipping slips are sent directly to the CRM.

For example, I am blocked for 7 days, but I have all the shipping slips available so I can ship my 80 current orders without going through Vinted’s messaging system again, which blocks the editing of shipping slips.
In addition, it prevents all the people who have placed orders with you from canceling their order themselves when they see that your account has been blocked.
At least you keep the option to accept or reject the cancellation.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a solution for account blocking yet.

This site sends shivers down my spine. You can pass through, but you can only see the future with it, and you have to anticipate something else, if possible. You can get blocked for no reason at every turn, even as a professional. I hope this will be resolved.

they are all new but marked as all in very good condition… Do you know what’s causing your blockage? The day before, someone opened a dispute for a cable that was too short, even though it was mentioned in the listing, and then retracted it… I don’t know if it’s coming from there…

Hello, were you able to continue selling on Vinted without being permanently banned? The same thing just happened to me; blocked for 7 days, threat of permanent block next time. Reason « commercial sales » even though I went Pro, no issues for 3 years and then… I don’t understand.

What products do you sell?

Accessories, jewelry, a few clothes from my wardrobe (which I invoice myself for, as I only have a Pro account :sweat_smile:). I list new items as « very good condition ».

In their terms and conditions: « Commercial sales on Vinted are only authorized for Pro sellers, in accordance with our Catalogue Rules. » :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is not the only one in this situation, several people are in the same situation and have talked about it on the forum… For me, it’s either abusive reports from another person (this can be checked), or a computer bug (but some people have explained that even by contacting Vinted by email, they maintain the blocking) or the person really does not respect the rules, but prefers to play the card of ignorance :sweat_smile:

Well, I admit I’m asking myself the same question… It can happen to anyone, after all. You just need to be the target of a malicious person who has a lot of time to waste, and that’s it.
