Hello,
I sold a handbag, but I wanted the sum to arrive in my mother’s account. I received a code to validate the change of bank account details, then the usual messages to proceed with sending the item. Which was indeed received. At the same time, I was notified that my account was temporarily suspended, and I therefore had to confirm that I was the owner. After sending the requested items multiple times, my bank account, my mother’s bank account details, copies of previous transactions, etc… my account remains blocked, I am told that I am not sending the requested documents, that the information on my bank card cannot be read (which is false), and of course, the sum has not been transferred anywhere. I don’t see how to get out of this deadlock. I obviously made a mistake, (are we allowed to make mistakes?) but I can’t manage to prove my good faith… So many automated exchanges that lead nowhere!
Hello,
Have you tried the email address legal@vinted.fr?
My experience, admittedly on a different platform than Vinted, tells me to avoid changing bank account details. This triggers all sorts of internal control alerts and leads to unresolvable situations.
In your case, you’re changing bank account details and also identity (your mother instead of you) => I wouldn’t give any hope. I haven’t checked, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this violates the terms of service. There must be a rule prohibiting the transfer of an account from one person to another.
Try putting back the old bank account details and hope it works.
Thank you Faune for your feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot change my bank details as I cannot access my account. All the evidence I have sent seems to be useless…
Thank you Lucile, yes, I wrote to that address, but to date I have only received automatic replies…
I finally managed to unblock my account, I don’t know which step actually worked, but I had an email contact and sent him the requested proof for the umpteenth time, and it worked!
Great, that’s good news! Thanks for keeping us updated.
