Package with two identical labels

I am contacting you because I am encountering a problem

I made two separate sales on Vinted via Vinted Go
As I don’t have a printer, I print the labels directly at the terminal
Tired or whatever, I stick the same label twice on the two packages…

I am therefore in a serious dispute

Person « A » ordered books from me, person « B » ordered cards.

I sent the books first and the cards two days later
Person A received the cards but not the books…
Given that it is the same tracking number for both packages, will they also receive their books?

However, I raise a point, the machine did not recognize that the same tracking number was scanned twice…

So I asked the person who received the cards instead of the books to open a dispute so that they could send them back to me

I’m just worried about the book package which must be lost in transit right now…

Hello, the exact same thing happened to me, how did you do it?

I have accidentally pasted the same label twice. The fact that the VintedGo label consists only of a QR code and a number, without the recipient’s name or address, leads to this type of error more than with other carriers. No one unintentionally reads a number, whereas one reads a name, even unintentionally, which can raise a flag.

However, when I dropped off the second package at the locker, it blocked. I called support, who immediately pointed out the error and remotely opened the first locker for me. I took back my package and went home to check and correct the labels. I am therefore surprised that you were able to drop off both packages with the same label.

Afterwards, I also once intentionally sent a second package with the same label because I had put the wrong book in the first shipment. I then took advantage of the drop-off point near my home where, after scanning it, the person asked me to put the package in the bag myself. I had 2-3 new packages, and I surreptitiously added the one with the duplicate label (without it being scanned, which would have blocked it).

Well, this « new » package was delivered to its destination and picked up by the recipient. And the wrong one was returned to me. A small loophole in the system. It was Mondial Relay.
