The message notification badge doesn’t disappear even though all my messages have been read.
Are you also experiencing this issue? The unread message count is completely wrong. Mine shows 10 unread messages while I’ve actually read everything. Moreover, none of them appear as grayed out in the interface.
It’s a bit annoying because it doesn’t help you know if you actually have new messages.

Yes, that unlocks it. I also have an article with zero visits and 1 favorite.
No, this is not a bug. This happens quite often (on my end), I have favorites but no visits when I publish new listings.
It’s within the first few minutes of publishing.
Reasons:
- One (or more) of your followers favorited it without visiting the listing.
- An external extension favorited your article based on user settings.
- A visitor favorited it from their search list without having visited your listing (they put it aside).

Yes, it’s still the case this morning, and like @Aco, the number increases when there’s really a new message and then drops back to the previous figure.

In the same vein, « package has arrived » type alerts, which appear on my phone, are no longer followed by a message in the inbox. Someone is messing with the Vinted development inbox…

I have the impression that Vinted is implementing changes. I had a few changes in the presentation of the search filters this morning and it’s not exactly arranged the same way on my personal and professional accounts.
Let’s hope these are humans modifying their bots and not poorly made bots modifying other bots 
Maybe they’re adding an automatic message sniffer to Favorites 
My number went from 3 to 5, so I’m wondering if there aren’t still some invisible new messages.
