Vinted account blocked

Hello everyone,

Could you please inform me?

I have been a Vinted user for over 7 years now with over 1200 reviews, and Vinted blocked me because I uploaded a collectible dagger, which was not sharpened.
Indeed, I had doubts about whether I could post this ad, but after researching a similar item, I saw that several people had also posted them.
So I took the liberty of posting my ad.
My ad was online for 1 day before Vinted contacted me.
I contested the dispute, which was refused, and I contacted Vinted support several times with always a negative response.

If anyone could help me, please.
In the meantime, have a good day and a good weekend :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello :waving_hand:

I’m not sure if collection items of this kind are accepted on Vinted. Indeed, you will find similar items, but that doesn’t mean other sellers are allowed to do so.

Ask Vinted support directly, but well… the answer will surely be from an AI

I was already blocked by the platform, the reason remained obscure and unanswered  then three days later everything was fine.

After all, we need to see if it is included in one of Vinted’s specific categories. If not, it’s best to avoid it, as it’s clearly not the initial type of market for Vinted, even though it has diversified. You specify « Unsharpened, Â» and they will likely see it as a dangerous item to ban from their platform.

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, I had put it in « collection Â» because it is a real collector’s item.
I have sent another message to Vinted support to have the request re-examined (they have already refused it 4 times).
I will insist and we will see.
Thank you for taking the time to read me and have a good Sunday.

Hello, I read your comment. Vinted blocked me permanently twice several months ago for a similar reason. I had put a kitchen knife up for sale, it was sharp but I had checked and kitchen knives were allowed. You can forget about the platform support, it’s a robot so you won’t get anything other than a copy-paste. Personally, I contacted them by email and they unblocked my account afterwards. My advice is to ask them next time if you are allowed to sell this item, that way you will have direct proof from the support itself.

Hello
Thank you very much for your reply, that’s kind of you
Okay, good for you then.
Yes, I will contact them again by email then.
Could you please tell me the address?
Have a good Sunday :sun:

Hello!

You can send an email to legal@vinted.fr
Good luck

Thank you
I will keep you informed later
Good evening :cityscape_at_dusk:

Hello, the same thing happened to me a month ago. They blocked me because I put a collectible item, a Moroccan dagger, up for sale. I took screenshots of all the items similar to mine that were still online and pestered them with emails, including these photos. I told them why block me if others aren’t blocked; it’s either no one or everyone.

Find my post, and I’ll provide 5 or 6 different emails, including personal emails to Vinted employees.

After 7 days, I was unblocked with apologies . Keep at it, don’t give up.

Hello, thank you very much
I will do everything because to date, still stuck .
Have a nice weekend :sun:
