Lack of visibility after republication: what do you think?

Hello!
I don’t have a pro account, but I’ve already seen this information, and indeed, after 6 months, Vinted must delete user information. So the IBAN is logically part of it :slightly_smiling_face:

Can you try reposting by changing the photos with Clemz? To see if this tricks Vinted and your sales pick up again

Remember to significantly change the photos as indicated here: 📸 Modifier les photos - Clemz

yes I am following these recommendations. However, I don’t know what VPN is

Same here, a drop of 80% for 2 weeks, to put it simply, I’m selling almost nothing anymore, whereas I was selling well (between 400 and 600 sales per month) since May without any notable drop. I continue to publish 20 new listings per day.

I think something happened around January 20th, because based on general observations, that’s the date from which things started to go downhill.

I’m stopping the republications for now, and the sending of favorites, I’ll only keep the messages to favorites.

So without views and without the effectiveness of republications, what do we do?

How can we be sure that it is the change of the Vinted algorithm or if it is the period that wants that?

I did a closet clear-out in town last weekend. I packed up after 3 hours. Reposting works well. Clement is working on fixing the views. I had a lot of offers today. I refused 9/10 because I’m not begging and my prices are fair. We need to change how things are done on Vinted. Bring back quality first and be firm on prices. People are tired of Shein. Don’t give up. Vinted has launched a consultation. I think (or rather, I hope) things will change. I’m deliberately no longer selling high-end items with them. I can’t be the only one. I’m moving to VC, Joli Closet, and eBay. And I’m starting to post affordable items on eBay and LBC. I can’t be an isolated case.

I also noticed that lbc is increasingly used by professionals. We need a repost bot on this platform!

I also sell (a little) on Vestiaire. Do you sell well on Jolicloset?

Yes, buyers behave like they do at a flea market. My prices are fair and even very interesting in terms of value for money, yet they negotiate for a discount. I also refuse offers.

Hello, Duck Shop, welcome

Hello, on LBC and eBay, listings are automatically renewed. Vinted is out of the game on this.

ebay is professional, it has all the tools, but don’t forget that 20% of the turnover is taken, which is huge. Even more so when you sell at a low price, where shipping costs quickly make up 20 to 30% of the price, on which you have to pay social security contributions and ebay fees.

On an item sold for 10 on ebay, 6 euros remain (considering only ebay fees, shipping costs, and contributions, I’m not talking about the purchase price of the item and everything else).

On an item sold for 10 on vinted, 8.8 euros remain.

Ebay is for sales of at least €30.

20%??!! On eBay

Well, what platforms do we have left to sell on…?

Does anyone sell on whatnot? And on TikTok or Insta?
