I re-posted on Wednesday and Thursday. I swapped the photos and added a background to throw people off, lol
Wednesday 0 favorites, posted at 6:30 p.m., and yesterday re-posted at 6:30 a.m., a little better, 5 favorites.
I re-post 20 ads per day given my very small closet. It’s also possible that the broadcast time is very crowded because my listing is full, so the ads get absorbed. I tested it by searching for my ads on Wednesday evening, and in 2 minutes, more than 50 ads had been posted. So, it might simply be that.
And I just made the mistake today, probably because of the bug where the page closes when you republish.
I relaunched the thing without checking and it posted the ad twice, I think that’s the only explanation. I got a 3-day account restriction. And 3 days last week too, but that was my manual mistake this time.
I’ll have to re-edit the photos with the extension to take zero risks.
It states: “It is not permitted to re-list an item that has been sold, deleted, or already listed, without significant modification to the listing.”
For a few days now, there seems to have been a problem with re-listings, and there have been a lot of 3-day bans for duplicates (numerous reports on Facebook and various forums)… It seems that Vinted is flagging photos even if they are slightly modified.
Disgusting, I have to edit the photos like this, no more problems, even if I don’t like editing them in the first place, but there’s really no choice between careless mistakes and possible republication bugs, too risky.
Yes, there is an issue, I think, because after being restricted for 3 days, I republished as soon as possible, so today, and now I have an article “verification in progress” since this morning!!
And no messages, no sales unlike usual, so verification in progress = 0 visibility
Good evening!
I continue to republish my items, without modification to my photos and I have not received any messages from Vinted (fingers crossed )
However, make sure you do not have duplicates or similar items (with very similar photos too) as the platform has been penalizing this for a few days
On my end, after a 3-day restriction for an alleged duplicate, I now have an item under review for almost 48 hours… and my items are invisible because nothing is moving.
no because it’s an alert that sounds (really) with the message clemz telling me that Vinted suspects a bot, go to another page that is encrypted then return to my closet page. This makes the message disappear
Hello,
Same for me, I am one of the « big » sellers on Vinted with over 7000 items.
I really feel like re-listing items is no longer very useful, I hardly sell anything anymore when I easily make €20K per month…
They must have made changes to the algorithm, visibility is very random…
