Aaaah Vinted! Buyers insult you when you ask for clarification

a buyer did not pick up her order, well that’s what she says since her husband went to pick up others than mine because she was very ill… the package was returned to me but I received nothing. This time Vinted, after a sworn statement, informed me that they would not compensate me. I therefore filed a report with SignalConso and informed Vinted and the buyer, who did nothing but insult me :face_with_raised_eyebrow:. Oh yes, my items are made in clandestine warehouses in China, I harass her, she threatens me not to contact her anymore with my « little theories »??? all this leaves me perplexed and so I reported her for her behavior to Vinted. We’ll see what happens next, because for the moment, besides tight negotiations at €4.80 for the sweater and a lot of 4 for €19.80, the buyer insults and attacks me, I lose my merchandise and am not compensated, even though I did everything by the book. We’ll see what Vinted does about all this. Thank you all for reading.

Hello, I had this happen to me. I reported it to Vinted and they sent me a nice message saying I had been insulting, but I hadn’t said anything. Of course, Vinted didn’t want to see my conversation.

in fact I think I will insult people too… since when one remains courteous and factual it is legitimate according to Vinted that one gets insulted, why bother?

in any case, I have warned Signal Conso about the ways Vinted operates, I’m so tired of respecting everything and always being wrong for them

Not very productive in my opinion. Zero results except for blowing off steam. Let’s stay calm. People who only resort to insults are more to be pitied than blamed. I tell myself that I received an education.
No wonder there are wars in the world if we insult each other over an unfortunate 4 or 5 euro item of clothing.

Which carrier for the return? Did you receive tracking information indicating that the package was posted for return?
If so, the buyer is not at fault, there’s no need to get worked up about her, it’s not her fault if the return package is lost.
The buyer did what she had to do, and now, it’s a problem between the carrier, Vinted and you.

I have never had the problem more than once, but I found that Vinted did not read the conversations, even when given the right to do so: I was asked for screenshots, and I provided about fifteen, in vain.

a buyer who will not collect the items… which she doesn’t buy, that’s all

the carrier is Chronopost, which claims to have passed through the post office and the package is marked as delivered in another city
