Vinted bride your messages to favorites

If I understand correctly, when sending messages to favorites via Clemz is activated, but someone has favorited 20 items, Clemz will only be able to send one message during that hour?

I don’t know if my question is clear? :joy:

thank you for the clarification, so 20 favorite notification readings per hour.

Normally clemz only sends 2 mg, whether a person has favorited 2 or 20 items.

if you have programmed the 2 favoriting messages on clemz. Otherwise only one.

Yes, but he will be forced to read the other 19 to see that it’s the same person, right?

Vinted wants to maintain an image of an « among individuals » platform – which doesn’t align with opening up to professional stores.

On the other hand, it does align with the fact that some sellers (especially professional or semi-professional ones) were sending hundreds of automatic offers in a row using bots or macros. – Which is what we do.

And they want to limit that, even if they make fewer sales.

Professional yes, but not in large quantities. After that, the core of the problem is where this quantity is located (turnover, number of sales…) – What’s certain is that it’s not possible to build a large business. (€1,000/day or more)

yes it is indeed possible for that to happen.
But I think I should be able to optimize this part.

After all, it’s quite rare for people to favorite 20 articles, isn’t it?

No, it’s not rare, especially when you’re doing targeted product in a single category.

Oh no, in my children’s clothing domain, it’s very common.

Okay. I’ll make a note to improve that!

Great! That would be awesome, thank you!

Hello, thank you all for your feedback, I will send a message to Vinted inspired by the template from @anon90966608 :folded_hands:t4:

It is really becoming more and more complicated to work on Vinted.

Have a nice day!

I just delivered version 1.22.0 which offers some optimizations on favorites, INCLUDING limiting the reading of favorites when someone adds a lot at the same time.

You can also limit your reading to the last x hours so as not to spend your time catching up on favorite history

Great! Thanks for your quick response!

Hello,

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I’m on the site more as a buyer than a seller, even though I also sell items from my closet and bookshelf.

I think you’re so caught up in your professional bubble that you forget that Vinted is fundamentally a site for selling old clothes or things we no longer use.

I can understand that your sales constitute a comfortable supplement to your income, or your sole income. I go on Vinted to buy clothes (especially) from people who no longer want them. If you treat your customers like any store does, apart from the prices, you have no interest, no added value. Realize that your discussions almost systematically mention Clemz at least once.

Personally, I only buy new or handmade items from professional sellers. I don’t want to pay the same price as in a thrift store plus shipping costs, when there are unannounced defects that, by definition, I cannot guess.
It might be sensible to announce on the homepage that this site is intended for professionals; it would be simpler for laypeople like me.

Small question, when sending messages to favorites, I noticed that it’s done starting from the most recent favorite to the oldest (within the selected range, of course).

Do you think it would be possible to have the option to do the opposite? Let me explain: with the recent throttling of favorite sends, for the older ones (about 2 days old), I can’t catch up to send them. However, in my case, I prefer to send them a little later in the day, or the next day or the day after, so as not to give people the impression of jumping on them.
But now, since they are systematically sent to the last 20 favorites, I can’t send to those who were favorited earlier in the day or the day before.

I don’t know if I’m being very clear? :joy:

I’ll see if we can do something with the « Message delay » option
I’ll try to look into it this week

Hello!
Have other users messaged Vinted? Have you received a response from them?

I also had this thought as soon as I started using clemz.

There are also advantages to sending to the latest favorites received, but with this cght, it may be wiser to do the opposite, so to the oldest ones.

Thanks Clément for the changes
