Automatic sending of favorites via Clemz: What's the point for you?

Hello, I’m wondering about the usefulness of sending and especially receiving favorites.

What are your experiences? Do you use them?

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Thank you, D.

Hello!
From my side as a « seller », I don’t use them. I’m a big fan of views, though.
If a buyer is really interested, whether there are 0/1/5/10/50 favorites… they will place an order.
Having sometimes used favorites via Clemz and done boost sessions between users, I remain convinced that it plays on the visibility of items. We also discuss it here in the documentation :right_arrow: 💞 Echanger des favoris - Clemz

Thank you Lucile

I will try.

Have a nice day

Hello,
personally I no longer use them. The fact that my favorites list is flooded with hundreds of articles that I am not interested in bothers me… :frowning:

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed..

Cc Lucile,
Are there any new game-changing elements?

Hello Helene,
On favorites? No there are no new features

I have the impression that it’s views that increase visibility

Hi Lucile,

In this message, you said you didn’t use favorites personally. Out of curiosity, have you been using them since the « Views » feature disappeared?

(I’m trying to understand how to use Clemz, I feel like a lot has changed since I signed up :slightly_smiling_face:)

Hello Hélène,

No, I don’t use them anymore.
The only thing I’ve tested since that message AND since the views stopped is participating in mini-boost sessions with favorites + offers (only 3-4 people). I tested it for 2-3 days but… I quickly stopped because it took too much time for too little result. ( = I didn’t sell any more during that time.)

We all agree on the loss of views (and we are truly the first to be disappointed, and it was not an easy decision to make) but… Personally, I prefer to spend more time on other actions like redoing descriptions, photos, or republishing.

Thank you for your transparency.

On the listings side, I think I’m doing well (please give me your opinion). My prices could be lower, but I don’t want to sell myself short.

I was already selling very little before the views stopped. I mainly used Clemz as a storage/republication tool. I don’t think it’s really suitable for small wardrobes; but I hope it will be a development focus for the future :slightly_smiling_face:!

Let’s hope Clément and you won’t suffer too much from these Vinted improvements.

Happy New Year in advance.

If you don’t want to sell at a discount… you sometimes have to be patient for the item to sell at the desired price.

We would appreciate your feedback on this: what novelty do you imagine to make it the opposite?

Thank you, have a great holiday season too :bottle_with_popping_cork:

Personally, I only use it because favorites are received too late. For them to be effective, they have to be given within 4 minutes of publication. If they are given afterwards, it’s useless.

I agree with this remark. @Clement @Lucile if you have time to read  « If the message to favorites is not sent immediately, it’s useless » says Maria. Indeed, I also find the management of sending favorites very opaque. I didn’t really understand how to use it perhaps. If we send the messages to favorites at the exact moment, the computer can run for hours. I can’t do anything else on Vinted and Clemz (or I don’t know how to do it). If we send with a delay, we lose the favorites quota (or I don’t know how to do it). I may not know how to use it correctly. What is also a shame is that we cannot capitalize on unused favorites either.

Hello!

It seems there’s a misunderstanding: @moijesuismaria is talking about exchanging favorites, while you are talking about messages to favorites.

Regarding messages to favorites, have you checked our documentation and the video about it? :right_arrow:📨 Messages aux favoris - Clemz
We explain how it works. When messages to favorites are activated, you cannot do anything else at the same time on Vinted/Clemz.
What do you mean by « we lose the favorites quota »?

Hello First of all, best wishes and happy new year, yes, indeed you are right. Maria is talking about favorites. I mistranslated. Small car accident. I was a bit out

Yes, I looked at the documentation on messaging favorites but couldn’t find answers to some of my questions, which remain those in my message. Sending messages to favorites is really good. Especially since we no longer have views. but I find the tool not very manageable. You never know where you left off the day before or two days ago or more. Nor who to send a message to because it’s mixed with favorite exchanges. Moreover, you are allowed x messages to favorites per day. If you don’t use them, you lose them (unlike republications) which isn’t very fair, I think. Especially since we no longer have views. it would be really good to be able to capitalize on them (like republications). Doing one-off commercial operations is interesting for me. I don’t necessarily need this tool every day as it is (unless I could control the points mentioned above and below). Furthermore, if you want to be efficient, the message must be sent immediately. However, if you don’t let the tool run, the message won’t be sent. Especially since I don’t know which is a real Vintie and which is part of a Cleanz exchange. Moreover, letting the tool run prevents you from doing anything else (on the computer). So you have to stop the tool if you want to work with Cleanz.

Hello,
Thank you, best wishes to you too! I hope you are.. better?

Clemz selects the people to whom it should send messages according to the options you choose. It will not send messages to people with whom you exchange favorites via Clemz. If you do boost sessions with other Vinties, you must add them to the « ignore » Vinties.
If you no longer know where you stand, launch Clemz, and it will sort things out on its end. It does not send another message if you have already sent one AND if you have not configured a second message to be sent within 24 hours.

Regarding effectiveness, I will speak from personal experience: even a message sent several days after a favorite results in sales. Sometimes even a message sent 3 weeks prior leads to a sale (3 weeks later, that is).
I only use the favorite messages once a day: I launch Clemz, it sends the X messages. I stop it and then do something else on Vinted.

But how do you know who the last Vintie was who favorited you? Who was the last Vintie you sent a message to after a favorite? Who has favorited you in the meantime?

How can you specifically select the Vinties you want to send favorites to?

Why can’t you capitalize messages to favorites (like republications)?

Hello,
I don’t need to know who favorited me last, nor who I messaged: Clemz sorts it out on their end.
If I haven’t sent messages to favorites for 1 week but have replied to a few messages, I don’t select any time limit and Clemz will send as many messages as I have favorites « pending in my notifications. » (within the limit of notifications that Vinted keeps for 7 days.)

You cannot select the Vinties you wish to message. Why do you want to do that?

Because often I know that sending a message will be useless. 40 favorites is few and precious and must be used well. I sometimes need to look at people’s profiles first. In marketing, identifying the target is the most important thing. If you identify your target well, you sell. If you miss the moment when the person wants to buy, it’s over; this moment is fleeting and doesn’t come back when it comes to superfluous consumer goods. (in 90% of cases) Sending random batches of messages isn’t always effective if you have few. It’s a basic principle in marketing. The key to success - especially since we lost the views on Clemz - is to sell. not to send messages to the four winds. To sell, also and above all, the items that are more difficult to sell. To be able to focus on them, therefore not to miss the Vinties who have favorited them and to send them a message very quickly. Which I cannot do in the current state. Or to run a joint operation on items that are causing problems. That’s really where the interest lies. Because there are items that will sell in the blink of an eye without any tools. Others that need help. The majority in reality, for me. It’s on these items that the difference in results will be made. Moreover, we should be able to have a counter to know where we are and to differentiate between Clemz favorites and real favorites. Running a one-off promotional operation for a period and/or an item or several items would be fabulous. Furthermore, why not capitalize on favorite message quotas? perhaps then the targeting problem that bothers me would be less significant for me. Having analysis tools is good. But it’s good if the sales tool is efficient. What I want as a priority is a tool to sell. Clemz lost the views. I realize that other tools have not lost this functionality. I also realize that the topics I’m discussing here have been discussed several months ago and in 2024. Without really any solution or answer in the end. I don’t know what happened to the Vinties who had raised these issues. I would like to have their feedback. I’m not very skilled in IT (not at all, in fact) but sales and marketing a little. . Sorry if I was redundant. I tried to refine my thoughts.
