I put several jewelry items up for sale one after another which are in like-new condition (I don’t sell damaged, torn, stained… items)
Vinted is asking me to remove listings within 5 days. How can I republish them with modifications and especially not one after another in a few weeks or months.
These listings are well saved in the clemz backup. How can I keep in memory which items these are to republish from the backup. Since I think they won’t appear in my smart dressing once deleted, so I won’t be able to put them in my to-do list.
I contested as Clément recommends, they acknowledged their mistake. My account was blocked for 1 hour in the end. But enough for me to delete listings that seemed suspicious to them.
I now find myself with items for sale that are in the backup, but no longer on my profile (I thought about taking a screenshot of each listing before deleting them to keep track).
My suggestion would be to be able to put an indicator or put in a folder the listings from our backup that we will have to repost on Vinted after their deletion.
And above all, to be able to modify the text in the backup before re-publishing. I think what made them react was the « like new » in the description when the item I am selling is indeed in like-new condition even if it has been worn.

Unfortunately, you have to be more and more careful, I had 12 listings « under review » out of the 15 I sent.
By using the appropriate keywords in the Dashboard search engine that you would have put in the title of the listings deleted by Vinted.
Moreover, if they are only in « Hidden » mode on your Vinted account, you can easily republish them in « Draft » mode to then change what may have been detected, or change your description.
Then you republish them one by one…

I select « very good condition » when I save the listing, but in the description I put « like new ». The « like » is to say that the condition is perfect. Not that the item is new.
Because for Vinted, their « very good condition » can be used even if there are defects.
And when the item’s condition is still « perfect / like new », even if already worn or washed, I find that this condition category is missing.
I’m fussy, because sometimes we buy new items, and there are holes, especially during sales. In that case, if I hadn’t worn it and wanted to resell it, I would put « very good condition ». With a photo of the hole. And I would remove the tag.
Because as a buyer, for me, the essential thing is the condition of the item I am buying. (Holes, pilling, deformation…) + whether it has a tag or not.

New means not only never used but also sold by a professional who sourced it from a distributor. An item leaves a store, legally it is no longer new. After that, platforms have always played on words with this, Vinted even being the champion in offering two categories of new while prohibiting it in their T&Cs

What’s annoying about Vinted is that I only sell items in very good condition. I can’t imagine selling damaged items, clothes with holes, stains, or pilling… so they might think it’s commercial sales because 99% are in very good condition. Nothing in good condition or insufficient. And 2-3 listings are new with tags.
It means the same as, equal. . The definition of new is « which has never been used ». So you cannot be the same as (equal) new (which has never been used) if you have used an object at least once. And besides, you cleaned it before selling it (well, I hope). So it is doubly not new nor the same. We must stop with this misleading expression.
