This morning I received this message. I assume this baseless denunciation comes from a recent malicious and litigious Italian client who returned a pair of trousers to me, arguing that my size measurement was not correct (2 cm too wide), and who had been particularly aggressive and insulting. He ended up returning the trousers at his expense, which is why I suspended my subscription a month ago. I say baseless because in no way did I insult him, even if I was tempted to.
In short, based on your experience, is it possible to denounce anyone at will without any proof, and do you know the process for this? Because on my end, even though I blocked him, since it apparently is possible without providing any proof, I won’t hesitate to do so. Given that this is the only bad experience I’ve ever had, I am certain it is him, especially since during our exchanges about a month ago, he mentioned having denounced me to Vinted.
Besides, I still haven’t received a report despite their attempt to provide a solution to this ZIP file issue that is not recognized on my Mac.

I finally managed to open this ZIP file… Reading the report about other members’ complaints, it seems I made insulting remarks? … Oh really! I have never behaved like that, but apparently, it’s the easiest reason to report, because in the report, I found 3 in the space of almost two years. Without speaking of outright insults, it is true that some exchanges can be exasperating and lead to responses accordingly. In your opinion, can another member make a denunciation even when they have been blocked?

Yes, it seems to me that you can report a profile even if it is blocked (I think I read it on the forum but I can’t find which discussion

Yes, it would seem so, because upon reading the report, I was able to ascertain that this dated back to February 28th. However, the only action taken that week was to retrieve the trousers that this customer had returned to me. Despite all the complaints and evidence I had provided to Vinted to prove that this customer was acting in bad faith, Vinted support responded that they could do nothing against him, even though he had lied brazenly after accusing me of providing the wrong measurements, when I was able to verify on the item once returned that my information was perfect. Dealing with characters like that on Vinted is somewhat tiring; fortunately, there aren’t that many, but still, the mentality is quite terrible… and it matters little to the Vinted team that one has almost 99% positive reviews.
