Sales temperature

@Faune, @Gametoysretro @Goodjob2A If you have this impression about Italy, you can confirm it via the chart available on Clemz.app « Where did you sell the most in Europe? » by making comparisons week by week, for example

Hello everyone!
For my part, I can say that since October 20th, my sales have picked up the pace I no longer even hoped for: the one before the drop in March 2025!
The €0.99 weekend allowed me to make several sales on Leboncoin, but Vinted was also quite motivated. And for now, I’m maintaining a gentle but steady pace. I remain hopeful that this will last until December.
Indeed, sales tend to decrease in amount (even if my average basket has increased). But I still have some lots, negotiated but reasonably. And let’s also say that I prefer to sell while keeping a margin I’m satisfied with, rather than refusing an offer hoping to get the maximum… Which may never come.
The way buyers consume is more hesitant, so I’ve decided to be more accommodating!
And to join the trio, I have a large part of my sales in France, then comes Italy in second position (I checked over the last 12 months). Then Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium ex aequo.

Here November is iso to October by a few %. There are still 10 days left.

Yes, it is indeed picking up little by little, even though my figures are below my expectations. Daily sales are being made, so no issues.

I had a good weekend and especially Monday and Tuesday, and since then it’s been a bit of a void. I’m selling but really just crumbs. The end of the month is difficult. In any case, I only plan to achieve +30% compared to the same month last year. I was supposed to double that. I don’t know where you are in terms of figures. But on my end, it’s a catastrophic November.

On my end, it’s been very strong since last weekend. November will be a « good » month, but a small November. In absolute terms, it will be my worst November since I’ve been here, but the previous months were so bad that I’ll put it in perspective.

Hello,

As a « private individual, » my November has been great compared to October. I’ve been making at least one sale per day since November 9-10, which is huge for a small account like mine.

However, I’ve also noticed that there are a lot (and I mean a lot) of buyers and bargain hunters from Italy offering -40%. Just yesterday, the package I sent was going there.

All the best,

Bayou.

For once, the preceding months were very good for me…

The problem is that the Italians have trained the other countries :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Before, the Portuguese and Irish would buy directly from me without offers, now they systematically try the Italian way (however, they give in more easily). But hey, the French have become quite good too  just now on a product sold for €14.90 in store (and that I sell new):

Yes, I’ve had a similar case!

The sales I’ve made with Irish people were always negotiations, but they remained reasonable. I mostly see the -40% with French and Italians. Sometimes I happen to accept, and generally the person doesn’t even pay

For about ten days, I have reduced the amount of discounts for bulk orders. It’s pre-Christmas: where I used to accept requests at -20%, I have changed my acceptance threshold to -15%.

I don’t even answer anymore, it’s not even worth it.

I notice, however, that Black Friday is super aggressive this year. And endless.

It’s a « black month » that completely breaks the concept but… that’s another topic

Absolutely! We’ve gone from a « Black » Friday to a Black November…

Regarding the subject of « Black Friday » this year, it’s clearly harassment. We are inundated with « Black Friday » offers from absolutely every site and platform, this year even Vinted CRM has its offers :joy:

Well, I can’t complain too much, I’ve really stocked up on great deals to supply myself.

You’re lucky, don’t hesitate to share

That’s great!! Hoping December is magical!

On my end, I was also able to stock up on necessities, diversify the products I’ve seen work even more, find good supplies, and also increase profitability, so I’m looking forward to seeing next month

For me (a private individual), it’s progressing at 2 sales per week even though I get very few views. For example, the last item of clothing sold had 4 views, 0 favorites in 3 days.

On the other hand, I still wonder about the daily waves of favorites without views, which of course never lead to sales.
