I don’t know what’s going on, but right now I don’t have many views or sales on my Vinted (I’m a professional seller). I deleted all my photos to redo them. But I realize that even by reposting my photos, I don’t get many views.
I even paid for the booster and it’s useless.
Do you think there’s a problem with the algorithm, that it’s blocking people, or not highlighting them? Because it’s not normal…
(Also, I’m selling really cheap)
Good evening Insaf, if it can reassure you, I have exactly the same problem. Views down by 5 since a week. Does it detect Clemz? I republish 6 articles every evening between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Is anyone else in this situation?
Hello, I had a huge visibility problem at the end of January and the beginning of February. I noticed that I had quite a few issues with listings in categories that have been recently modified. They become visible again after correction upon republication (Clemz detects the error and puts them in draft).
Then there’s the global context. In February, I almost exclusively made sales abroad on Vinted and Ebay, so the listings are visible, but French people aren’t buying. Political instability and austerity measures are clearly not helping (just look at our European neighbors who are doing well), and there is currently a fundamental problem with commerce in general.
Hello,
I have the same problem, since last week.
I was seriously starting to worry, thinking the issue was with my account.
Also, is it a coincidence? The decrease in sales, views, and favorites started when I made a change to the framing of my photos!
I really hope we will soon understand what is happening because it is certain that there has been a change.
Hello, I have exactly the same problem, almost no sales for 1 month, a very significant drop which is really not normal. For me, it started when I stopped editing photos, so I decided to edit them again, but nothing changes.
I help a lot of people set up their Vinted, and their sales haven’t changed, no sales problems this month and no claims.
I really wondered if I hadn’t been detected.
If my previous numbers are anything to go by, March is traditionally supposed to kickstart sales. But then again, with not much happening normally these days, I’ll refrain from guaranteeing it.
I also have the impression of being shadowbanned and no longer having any visibility. I have over 1000 articles online, I republish them every day, and I get almost no views or favorites, let alone sales. I don’t know if it’s related to the month of February being quiet, or if I’m shadowbanned and my closet is no longer highlighted at all by Vinted because they detected the republications. If anyone has an idea how to know if you’ve been detected and shadowbanned, or if there’s a way to stop it.
Same. 50% drop for February. It’s like this every year, but this year it’s really pronounced. The year of the pension strikes too, which had a considerable impact.
Pay attention to the category changes made by Vinted, there have been quite a few in February and it’s causing some issues.
For example, for my toy listings, they used to appear in search results but not when a category filter was applied, as they no longer show up there. I have to modify each listing to re-enter the category and colors, which are now also mandatory. This coincided exactly with a very difficult period in terms of views. It’s somewhat recovered but not great.
However, one detail that is telling (in my opinion) is that my sales to French buyers have collapsed. Because I’ve sold quite well to foreigners. And similarly on eBay, I switched to international at the beginning of February and that saved my month there (even though I’m far from my Vinted sales by default).
Hello everyone,
Thank you for bringing up this topic because, for me, for 10 days there have been no views at all, nor any sales. It’s very, very strange! I’ve listed a lot of items and at quite high prices, I think that’s what’s blocked them at their end!
This is my username, but I checked with my personal account and without logging in. And no problem buying and receiving messages, but I don’t appear with your method and I tried with accounts I know, same thing.
What you describe sounds like their account restrictions, and normally they warn you with a message.
Yeah, but okay, if we go by that logic, there’s always something. Holidays aren’t good, sales aren’t good, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, public holidays, etc. …
It’s just that we’re in a rotten period for commerce. Besides, if my sales have collapsed, it’s among the French; I still sell just as much to foreigners.
And it’s weird because even in « members » I can’t find you (even though even if we are shadowbanned, that works)
@Gametoysretro is that the name you gave your Vinted shop or is it your username? I know that professionals can give a second name, but with this one we can’t find you
