A Belgian buyer bought a new children’s jacket and trousers set from the brand Christian LACROIX, new with tags, from me. She claimed a return for non-conformity due to black stains that were not on the clothes when sent. Vinted defends buyers to the detriment of sellers and therefore decided to validate the return… I am reporting this dishonest buyer to the community: her username is « chel1420 »… AVOID…
Hello and welcome ![]()
Have you received the return yet? It’s truly unbelievable!!! Vinted had the photos from your listing to compare and see that the item was new and without defects/stains.
Thank you anyway for reporting this scammer to us, I have blocked her.
No, I have not received the return. Vinted is asking me to close the dispute by accepting the return myself… If I don’t, will the buyer be refunded while keeping the item? I find this procedure completely illegal!!!

If the garment arrives in a different condition than what you sent, you can refuse the return validation.
Regarding the dispute, you can accept the return, it remains to be seen whether you will pay the return costs or the buyer… she will therefore return the item to you and as @Gametoysretro says, once you have received the return, you can report the problem and compare your photos at the time of sale with the photos of the damaged item you just received, because once the item is received, Vinted will ask you to confirm that everything is okay… however, everything is not okay ![]()
