It’s normal, isn’t it? You don’t have just one t-shirt, one pair of jeans, one sweater, or one pair of shoes or socks. Everyone has several dozen items to wear, at least in Western countries.
Hello Frenchysacha. Reading your post, I understood that you know of other platforms that are more interesting than Vinted. Could you please give me the names of these platforms so that I can, in turn, leave Vinted, which sometimes I think blocks me for a few days as it happens that several days go by without any visits or anything… Thanks in advance for your reply.
The quality of a platform cannot be determined in absolute terms; it all depends on what you sell and how you sell it. It’s a combination of factors to consider.
For my part, as a professional, I sell adult fashion items, clothing, and shoes.
I’m on Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, Joli Closet, and I was also on Le Bon Coin, but that’s over for me with their new conditions for professionals.
I do the majority of my turnover on Vinted and Vestiaire Collective, and I find Vinted to be a fantastic platform for my business, but only since I started using Clemz, because on Vinted, novelty is what matters most, at least for what I sell there.
As a private individual, I sell records and books that no longer interest me, and for that I have a Discog account, Rakuten, and a non-professional Vinted account. But that’s just tinkering.
This morning I woke up.. and poof, account restricted for the reasons "Some of the listings you posted on Vinted have been identified as commercial listings subject to restrictions, which goes against our Catalog Rules and our Vinted Pro Terms and Conditions.
As a result, we have removed one or more of your listings and restricted your ability to sell for 5 days.
We have made this decision because the characteristics of your listing(s) indicated that you were selling one or more of the following items, which Pro sellers are not allowed to sell on Vinted:
-
cosmetic products
-
items for rent, made to order, or available on demand
-
large quantities of new items (including those with original tags)
-
items you have made yourself
-
items purchased in bulk or generally associated with dropshipping and low value
Note: if other listings are identified as offering commercial items subject to restriction, we will be forced to apply a 7-day selling restriction, which may lead to the permanent blocking of your account, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Here are the next steps to follow:
-
Remove all listings that are commercial in nature and subject to restrictions within 5 days.
-
Consult our Pro Seller Guide and our article Commercial Sales to learn more about this issue and why your listings were removed.
Unfortunately, if your listing was removed because it violated our rules, we cannot refund Spotlights or Item Bumps.
Thank you for your cooperation,
The Vinted Support Team"
This is great…
Same as you 7 days ago. It’s crazy, they really do a witch hunt. You sell a bit too well, boom, they throttle you!
They are just shooting themselves in the foot. They will fall, like many others.
5 days is the first step, then 7 days… Then if you’re lucky 7 days… then definitely ![]()
Then after, bye, it’s independence, either by yourself or in local markets in our villages ![]()
Re: local markets in villages!! it’s not for everyone. You have to get up at dawn, have boxes prepared, load, set up a stall, unload and the customers are like here. They haggle down to the last cent. No Thanks.
And to think that some people did that 6 days a week for years, even decades… ![]()
and then came the web ![]()
It seems like nothing is going right for you, everything sucks, the markets suck, Vinted is rotten, the transporters are shit.
Are we talking about trains arriving on time??
no no no let’s not talk about civil servants… that’s going to annoy some people
![]()
but we can talk about cyclists who ride on departmental roads in the middle of the road at 5km/h… or cars without a license… creating a monster traffic jam… we can talk about that… right @141
… (of course, this is just a joke)
@Aco - The heatwave hasn’t made you lose your sense of humor.
in 15 days there’s a Slovenian bear on porridge that’s going to overtake cars on the départementale ![]()
Precisely, a very good example: if it were taken into account, the vision of the train service would be different and closer to reality, but here there is a political dimension aimed at destroying public service.
95% of trains are on time, and yet many people think the service is rotten and the trains are always late. This is called facts versus perception. And it’s very different.
He eats organic salad! Interstellar poggiiii, it’s going to be a massacre
And the tourists looking for a spot while driving at 2?

I’m really scared for this year given what we’ve seen since Mars ![]()
I agree with you, Vinted has definitely blocked my account because it’s true I had a period where I made quite a few sales. But that’s not why I’m a pro
By the way, a small question, my account is blocked permanently and I want to delete my bank details but it’s impossible to do so. Do you have a solution?
Why do you want to delete only your bank details?
If it’s to put them on another account, you don’t need to delete them.
If it’s because you’re afraid they might debit you for something… that won’t happen.
However, you can ask Vinted to delete all of your data, that’s the law, and to permanently delete your account.
(Okay, fine, Vinted doesn’t respect French laws
, but send them a request)
