I’m here to announce 2 pieces of news following Vinted’s change that was blocking messages to favorites via Clemz:
- Good news: I was able to fix the issue and messages are being sent again
- Bad news: Vinted is imposing a new limitation on reading favorite notifications
Summary of Vinted’s change
Vinted is throttling the reading of your notifications to 1 read every 3-4 minutes approximately. Therefore, Clemz can now only send about 20 messages per hour.
I had predicted this change in this forum post from last May. You will find detailed explanations there.
What to do?
Read the forum post and you will understand that the limit applies to everyone, even manual sending. I think we should collectively complain to Vinted because this will significantly reduce sales! I am confident that if enough people complain, they will change this ridiculously slow setting.
