On my end, for 2 weeks, we’ve gone back to questions then accepted negotiations that lead to ghosting…
They don’t give notice, they don’t send any word.
We should really be able to leave reviews.
And yes, that would be the dream, personally I now refuse reservations because of it.
Not to mention the people who don’t pick up their packages. Between shipping, the delay at the pickup point, and the return, our item is blocked for a minimum of 3 weeks without being able to be sold. An automatic negative review would make people think.
(What? Am I a little green because this just happened to me? Noooo, not at all! Especially since the buyer didn’t try to sweet-talk me with « actually, the package is lost »

Furthermore, the package and the item return in a pitiful state due to travel and storage, and we have to be able to repost it.
Even worse, the annual sales summary that Vinted sends to the tax authorities shows canceled sales! Poor sellers that we are! We are not getting rich on Vinted!!

Reservations, I actually wonder why the feature exists on Vinted. I got burned at first, but one time was enough. Let sellers blame themselves if they agree to reserve.
For negotiations accepted but left unanswered, I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s common to make offers to several people, and, well, we’re not going to offend everyone we don’t buy from by explaining we found it elsewhere.
As for uncollected packages, do the statistics. It’s about 1% of cases. I prefer to see the glass half full: 99% of packages are collected.
Reservations, I only make them when it suits me (so rarely), basically when it’s something that’s been pending for a while, so 5 more days is an acceptable « risk » if it allows it to be sent.
Unconclusive offers, same as Faune. People may have found cheaper in the meantime, may have sent several offers and bought from the first person who responded favorably, etc… in short, really nothing to get worked up about, it’s part of the game.
Not even in my case, however, they often arrive damaged so it’s a bit annoying.
In the beginning, I took screenshots of the usernames so I would never do business with them again.
There are so many that I just block them now.
These may be people whose wardrobes (and not only) are modest, unlike others. They may be disappointed when a sale does not happen. This is a forum. « The crying office » is sarcastic. I don’t post much on the forum but I read a lot of it.
I respond to certain topics when I deem it appropriate.
Nevertheless, so be it if the moderation deletes my message (Promise! I would understand perfectly and wouldn’t hold it against you), I am increasingly annoyed by the messages of certain members who are neither advisory nor benevolent but judgmental, particularly judgmental of people. Especially since we are treated to a moralizing discourse into the bargain, with the highlighting of virtuous behavior (Well yes, apparently, a lot of energy is found for this kind of message…)
I am not virtuous, I am human with all that implies in terms of various emotions. I can feel annoyed by buyers’ behavior, find them irresponsible or disrespectful to the seller and wish for consequences aimed at making them responsible without having to question any narcissistic flaw detected by an internet person whose legitimacy to do so is not proven or even read things like « the crybaby office, » which is both demeaning and infantilizing.
I acknowledge this right to other forum members who have written on this topic.
Criticizing others is, however, very present on the forum. If a topic is not suitable, one can absolutely refrain from responding to it or, at least, do so without demeaning others while highlighting oneself.
Be careful, I am talking here about criticizing people and demeaning behavior and not about expressing disagreement. Other members know how to express their disagreement by developing their point of view without judging others or putting themselves forward in any way. And this leads to very constructive exchanges!
I also share this vision.
We can express disagreements or annoyances without resorting to judging people.
This is what makes the exchanges truly constructive here.

Everyone must be free to express their feelings indeed, without feeling judged. This is an essential point for us… and I am sorry if some people have already felt judged, that is not the purpose of the forum.
We are here to discuss, exchange points of view and experiences on a common subject, which sometimes makes us experience emotional rollercoasters, going from laughter to tears to anger. So let’s not add judgment among ourselves on top of that.
Let’s keep in mind that if it doesn’t advance the discussion (as is the case with some messages in this thread)… then it probably doesn’t need to be written here.

2 sales like that and I lost my items because Vinted didn’t notify me that it had arrived at a pickup point 15 KM from my home! I’m fed up! The buyer gets away without a review!
This has happened to me too. I was able to contact Mondial Relay, who will redeposit the package at the relay point.
I also picked up several returned packages whose sales had been validated, which is always nice.
