On May 4th, I wanted to buy a tablet for €193.23 with buyer protection. I tried to pay, it failed, I tried again… it failed. I abandoned the transaction, and the item was sold to someone else. I noticed that the amount was provisionally held in my account like a pre-authorization. The next afternoon, a Monday, there was no refund, but a double payment was effectively made without a transaction. That’s where the battle began: a complaint to the bank, to consumer protection, to Vinted. No contact by phone, and impossible to describe the situation without a transaction number since the purchase was not completed. I don’t know what to do. I sent the seller’s name, bank screenshots, etc. Is there actually no law?

yes last Tuesday but it’s going in circles nothing is moving I sent tons of justification it’s easy for them to see that I did not buy the item in question but they don’t mind keeping my money for twice the value I wonder how this attitude of grand larceny doesn’t get them into trouble with European consumer protection agencies with whom I have also opened a file..
