Sharp drops in views and sales, any advice or tips?

Hello everyone,
For about ten days now, my views have been dropping sharply and sales are almost non-existent.
On my Vinted wardrobe, I sell silver jewelry and genuine natural stones in addition to my website. This allows me to reach a wider clientele.
All my sales are declared, but I have not opted for a pro account, so I do not list my items as « new » even though they are.
I’ve never had too much trouble selling, and some customers are even very loyal.
The drop in views happened suddenly, about ten days ago.
I started by checking if I was shadow banned, reworked some of my listings, and tried to feature my wardrobe, but so far there has been very little improvement. My photos seem correct, and my descriptions are well-crafted.
I would need advice or opinions to understand this sudden drop in activity on my Vinted wardrobe.
Here is the link to my wardrobe: kashmir.17
Thank you in advance for your help.

Same for me since May 1st, a very big drop in attendance and sales.
About 50% less for the beginning of this month.
I think the 2 public holidays that make long weekends have something to do with it.
People are going away for the weekend, going out and spending their money elsewhere…
That’s my opinion…

Good evening, thank you for your feedback. I think you are right about the long weekends. I was surprised because this is the first time it has happened so suddenly, as far as I’m concerned.
Generally, I do most of my sales in the second half of the month. I will see if the situation returns to normal. There seem to be quite a few bugs on Vinted at the moment too, which must also have an impact on our activities. I hope everything gets back to normal for you too. Have a nice evening. Natacha

May 8th was my only good day. It’s just the overall economic context that’s rotten (besides, I sell almost exclusively to foreigners). And then Vinted doesn’t help. Full of bugs for months and recurring major visibility issues (yesterday my listings didn’t appear in the search engine).

Hello, yes the Vinted bugs yesterday were annoying. I made a sale and the person couldn’t pay. I was lucky, she didn’t give up and managed to finalize after 4 tries and it was impossible for me to send messages to people who had favorited my items. Let’s cross our fingers that everything gets sorted out!! Have a nice day!! Natacha

Hello,

I agree with @Gametoysretro, there are many factors that make sales « complicated »… it’s a holiday period, long weekends… Vinted is bugging all over the place…

I don’t know how you post or repost? For my part, what worked « before » no longer works today. I used to post a lot before 8 am, then at 12 pm/2 pm, and finally after 5 pm. For a few months now, I’ve been posting all day, about once an hour, but what works for me might not work for you :grimacing:

I’m also selling more and more to foreigners, are you doing « international » boosts?

Your photos are beautiful, for me everything is okay with your wardrobe, have you ever listed items as new? I would have advised you to list your jewelry as new, but if you list too many new items, Vinted will ask you to go professional :exploding_head:

Try new things, retake photos with a new look, you never know

Have a good week and a good week to everyone

Hello. Personally, during summer hours. I put about ten articles between 6 and 7 p.m. In winter, rather late morning between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. I have 60% to 70% of my sales abroad. Right now it’s really bugging. Courage to all, it will pick up again.

The problem is that there have been bugs since mid-January. I found myself invisible in the search engine for 3 weeks. As a professional, that hurts a bit.

For my part, it’s not necessarily bad. On May 8th, I had a great day, alas it was the only one.

Thanks for your feedback!!
I don’t list anything as new because I have no desire to go pro on Vinted. I am pro on other platforms, but I’m really reluctant about Vinted. I mention the condition of my items privately when someone favorites a piece of jewelry, otherwise the customer discovers it when opening their package.
Initially, I thought about putting it in my bio and in my listings, but I didn’t because I don’t want to be penalized by Vinted’s algorithm.
I do some reposts, especially on very old items that have lost all visibility. I change the visuals and even the description. For more recent items, I bring them back up by modifying the description.
I post once a day at the end of the day or early evening. I don’t stress too much about the times, I post when it’s ready.
I’ll see if the views pick up in the next few days, Mother’s Day is approaching!!
Have a nice day

Hello,
oh yes, 3 weeks of invisibility really hurts!!
I remember having some visibility issues at the end of the year but it didn’t last that long.
Have a nice day!!

Currently, I do a lot of sales abroad as well.
I only make unique pieces, so I have a limited stock of pieces, and I only publish once a day, rather in the late afternoon or early evening.
Thank you for your feedback!!
Have a great day!!
