Should one export to different platforms?

Hello, a quick question regarding Clems’ future: do you plan to eventually develop cross-listing, meaning the ability to retrieve our existing Vinted listings and republish them directly on other platforms like eBay, Leboncoin, etc.?

I’m asking because Vinted is becoming really difficult to use for large inventories. I was temporarily sanctioned/banned about two weeks ago because of republications, and since then, my visibility has completely collapsed. I’m making barely €100 in sales per month while still having a huge inventory to sell.

So, rather than relying solely on Vinted, I would like to be able to use Clems to distribute my inventory across multiple marketplaces. Is this something that is planned in your roadmap? And if so, do you already have an idea of which platforms could be integrated?

Hello,
The answer is Yes, and there are other topics that address this request…

what do you mean?

get data from vinted not simple but possible by cheating, because there is no api.

The hardest part is having a common database if you sell the same item everywhere, so that it is removed from all sites where it is sold, and this in all directions. And that, that’s tough. For example, vinted regularly disconnects accounts, and poof the multi-account sync breaks. only ebay poses no problem.

But we don’t know the status of this project. And for good reason, Clément has been overwhelmed, I imagine. Being able to transfer our backed-up database from Clemz to other platforms and to our own online store/website while keeping Clemz and its features would be simply brilliant. We’ll have to adapt anyway. It looks like it’s here to stay.

I currently have 200 items online; I need to have 500 more in stock. I just tested another extension for free, the free version only allows Vinted and Leboncoin.

Yes, it would be good for Clemz to evolve in this direction because the numbers are catastrophic right now. A high-performing cross-listing tool would be really great.

That’s already quite good. And what about the paid version?

It must be acknowledged that I regularly make mistakes, which I generally only realize when I have to apologize for leaving an ad online when the item is already sold…

Large companies have multi-platform inventory management for sites that accept APIs. For example, a company like Momox can display its inventory on its own website, on eBay, on Amazon, etc. And even then, there are curiosities; I bought a comic book for €9 from Gibert/Rakuten, a comic book that Gibert’s own website was selling for €18…

Not an infrastructure that one builds as an individual.

Me yes, I built it. I have 3000 items online and I could have 10,000, the principle is the same. I manage 4 simultaneous platforms including my site.

And for your information, I don’t set the same price everywhere. there are coefficients that apply when I dispatch.

I started from scratch and by working like crazy for 5 months (and it’s not over, I’m constantly improving) with patience, it’s possible with AI.

It’s more useful than posting complaining comments (I’m not talking about you, in general) :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

it’s essential to have something that really works, especially as soon as you start to have a lot of references. if it’s not automatic, it’s over.

With Vinted: no API, so that’s why it’s complicated to do and why nobody commercializes it. (to my knowledge). I thought about it at one time, but it’s another job, and you shouldn’t chase too many hares at once.

But would that be possible? Let’s say all those who have made extensions for Vinted group together and build this tool instead of staying in their own corners (and losing out individually in their own corners), would they achieve it? There are geniuses in IT. I am also in the process of building my website. It wasn’t planned, but the circumstances forced me to. Thanks, AI, for that. I would also like to do what you have done, but if someone else did it for me, I would prefer it . My thing is more fashion, lol.

All my respect!

The 4 platforms are Vinted + your site + eBay +…? What is the 4th one?

I also have a lot of SKUs. I must have seen 20,000 pass through since I started. My main concern was the time it sometimes took me to find a sale in the storage area, but that’s generally resolved.

My recurring problem is the stock not yet online, all that is in piles awaiting processing. Very long to upload a listing, but above all, too boring a job.

It’s certain that with the blocking problems for automation since the beginning of the summer, he must not have stopped working.

This is the problem with not being able to connect platforms to a hub that manages everything. I make the same type of mistakes, at first it traumatized me and then one day on a large order, FNAC canceled half of my order so I became less stressed about the issue  oh well, it’s not a big deal to cancel an order from time to time.

this system exists for seasonal rentals. it doesn’t cause any problems for platforms either; on the contrary. So the plan and the means already exist. Only Vinted would not allow it.

Vinted likes to nail everything, so allowing connection with an external app linked to other sales platforms is a long way off.

we can do without them to start. All empires have an end. And if this option can bring a plus and allow us to continue using clemz even otherwise, that would be good. If individual accounts can no longer use it (because that is indeed their objective), what will happen to clemz? there will also be repercussions for professionals (no more clemz)…

The answer is: YES
My goal is to release the first versions before the end of the year as the demand is indeed quite high from users :ok_hand:

it’s just that it’s the holy grail

In any case, for a professional, between automatic billing, automatic sending of messages/evaluations, it’s already a crazy amount of time saved. But if we could also have an interface that sends the same ad to multiple platforms, then we’d be a big step above. Provided that we could manage stock with automatic republication and deletion of ads when the stock is sold, then you have the ultimate interface to sell to professionals.

we’ll get there
2027 is going to be very busy! :mechanical_arm:
