Vinted and other platforms - Possible link?

Hello,

Are any of you using a solution that allows linking Vinted and another online platform to retrieve its product catalog? Shopify store, SumUp, WooCommerce?

Like cross-posting, in fact, to avoid posting on various platforms every time…

Thank you

no Api with vinted.

If you are betting on customer loyalty, there is nothing stopping you from putting a business card with your various social networks in your package.

Yes, yes, they have opened it but it seems very complex to access.
From what I understood, they are setting conditions so that only large structures can access it, but since all their regulations are designed to prevent these structures from being present on Vinted, there is (still) a schizophrenic aspect to Vinted.

Yes, we always come back to their way of doing things, using cognitive biases like dissonance.

Like a shop with an open sign and the door is locked = mental confusion.

You have to let it go and deal with it.

There is really a gap between Vinted and eBay, a structure that would create a mix of the two could work.

Personally, I’m waiting for that.

But people don’t want it, many are satisfied with Vinted. LBC or Beebs, you can do exactly the same thing but with a lot less hassle.

But in itself, Vinted’s system is very good, but what causes problems are the technical issues and especially the Terms and Conditions issues, as well as their constantly contradictory policy.

Because in itself, the Vinted system is very, very well done, the problems do not stem from the structure but from the policy.

Then again, they didn’t invent the wheel either; all of this existed before them.
On the other hand, they had the good idea to target a very specific category at launch and, above all, they anticipated the advent of the smartphone with an app designed for it and easy to use.

They may not have invented the wheel, but they are currently leading the market and have managed to build an empire.

Yes, like eBay or Rakuten in their time, but it’s something that’s ongoing. And be careful, they are in the lead, but not on everything and not everywhere, far from it.

There are quite a few good points, but one huge drawback:

Building a professional structure, jobs, premises, marketing, economic angle, and all the management of a business is impossible on Vinted, knowing that a ban can happen at any moment without reason.

Yes, and I would add the recurring bugs.
And then the interface, which is simply insufficient for a large structure.
Besides, I’ve seen sellers established on eBay or Rakuten since the 2000s, and I’m talking about profiles where the ratings are in the tens of thousands minimum, try Vinted and leave after three months.

yes, bugs too. There were some on eBay, but few, short, and rare.

yes I understand, I have over 30,000 transactions on eBay but I was hardly selling anything there anymore.

Vinted has taken over the second-hand textile market, except for collectible items, especially in sports.

Yes, yes,

I tried selling second-hand clothes on eBay and it seems complicated; even collectibles, at very attractive prices, nothing works…

How long ago?

Last year and this year; I sent a few dozen articles, to auctions and direct sales

With some web development skills, you can use a solution like Automa (the Chrome extension, there is also a more advanced freemium app) which allows you to build an algorithm to automate the online posting of ads. It is less restrictive than solutions based on a Chromium instance that require tinkering to get past bot detection tests.
