Is window dressing effective for you? Have you noticed an increase in sales thanks to this method? I would also like to know if the cost of window dressing, which varies depending on its size, is justified by the results obtained. Finally, regarding the boost on each item, do you have any feedback on its effectiveness and do you feel a difference in terms of sales?
We also noticed that some time ago, an update indicated that certain items were sold through the showcase dressing room, with a specific message to highlight it. Did you see this option? And have you noticed that it has recently disappeared? Currently, although we still have the showcase dressing room, this option is no longer visible, making it more difficult to measure the effectiveness of the feature. Have you observed the same thing on your end?
Once I tested the showcase dressing, basically I had only one sale, after that I don’t really know if it was because of the showcase or the fact that I’m in a boost group.
But in terms of statistics for the number of views, of favorites, if we use a boost group, it’s useless (the statistics page).
Hello! So it’s been a while since I last featured an item. I wouldn’t be able to tell if there are any real differences in my sales numbers when I do or don’t.
Stats can be interesting for favorites, views. And I’ve never seen the option that indicated sales thanks to featuring.
Yes, sometimes software designers experiment with A/B testing to see how a new feature behaves. That is to say, a sample of users will have the update but others will not. It is a very widespread practice.
In any case, no one is talking about it on the forums. I will try to approach Vinted on the subject… hoping they will answer me.
Hello Laura! Yes, I saw/had it but I haven’t recently put it in a display case again, so I couldn’t tell you if it disappeared or not, but I found it practical.
So personally, the showcase always allows me to increase my sales + a lot of extra favorites.
But we must not forget that all the boosts offered by Vinted are only a way to multiply the basic potential of your listings. So if their potential is close to 0… It won’t change much
Hello Laura! I confirm that you no longer have the information that someone is contacting you thanks to your display of your dressing room in the window. It’s a shame, it was interesting.
Regarding effectiveness, I confirm that it is still as formidable. I did pay more this time than before, but it has already paid for itself on my end.
