Hello and thank you for this extension which saves us all precious time.
A « small feature » is just missing in the export of articles to CSV. Indeed, you cannot add columns as is possible in the export of sales.
The column I am missing is the order number to be able to reconcile the export of articles with the export of sales.
PS: I prefer it in this direction (adding the order number to the article export and not adding the article number to the sales export) because an order can consist of several articles.
PS2: I cannot reconcile by the article description because I have several different articles with the same title.
Thank you for the compliments and the suggestion!
Could you please send us an email about this, explaining why you cannot add columns? What is blocking you manually?
On my end, I can add a column after downloading I then have to fill in the information manually.

For the moment, saving articles is not really planned to be « coordinated » with sales… It’s a good idea that I’ll keep in mind, but it’s not that simple to implement.
What I would advise is to avoid having articles that are different but share an identical title. You would need to add a differentiating element to the title at a minimum: SKU or something else.
Why?
This would allow you to make the connection above.
In the fairly near future, Clemz will improve article synchronization, and I think the title should be the « identity card » of an article. So if 2 articles have the same title, they will be confused… By having unique titles (no need for a big difference! SKU, box number, etc.), you will be able to easily use this future functionality
Ensuring the uniqueness of items by title is clearly not possible when you have stock of several hundred items.
For example: Jean Levis skinny Premium Noir W32 L32, I have several for sale right now.
I do not put the SKU in the title but in the description because it confuses buyers.
The only possible matching key for me is the item number (itemId) and/or the order number (orderId).
For me, there is no need to synchronize the 2 backups. It would just be necessary to add the order number to the item export if the item has been sold.
At worst, you could add the list of itemIds to the sales export. That also works (A little less practical because an order can be composed of N items).
That’s a very common practice! The title is barely visible to customers who mainly see the photos and the description. Adding the SKU at the end shouldn’t cause any issues
The main thing is that it’s a significant modification, and for me to implement it, it needs to be requested by many paying subscribers
