Create new accounts after blocking

it would be really interesting and useful to know.

Good evening :waving_hand:

I was looking for useful information when I came across this post. I’m in (almost) the same situation. I had a personal account and was blocked for commercial sales, so I got an old phone, reset it to factory settings, and I’m waiting to receive the SIM card, then I’ll open a new bank account. The question I have is how to proceed once I reach €2000 or 30 sales and Vinted asks for my tax number… With my old account, I made an average of 5 sales per day (€1200 turnover/month).

If a kind soul could advise me, I would be very happy :folded_hands:

I did some research and apparently, very large accounts have special agreements with the platform.

Hello,

Does resetting the phone to factory settings suffice to not be considered multiple accounts? A phone that had a Vinted account registered, if reset to factory settings, can a new account be put on it?

How do we become a very big account with all the brakes they put on?

Apparently, yes. I tried to create a Vinted account on my old phone that had been used on Vinted, and they blocked me immediately. After resetting it to factory settings, I was able to create another one… Still need to check though…

in my opinion, the IP address not changing even after a return to factory settings, I don’t think it will work. Maybe you were lucky? I don’t dare to try ^^

It’s not the IP address that’s detected, it’s the phone itself

You absolutely must change your phone and even your wifi, okay

We agree that we need to change the device, which has never been used. Honestly, I’ve been struggling with them for 2 months, so I’m giving up. I’ll lay low and see in a few weeks or months. Do you know how long it takes for our SIRET numbers and data to be forgotten and reused by them?

Approximately 6 months after the Terms of Service

ok thank you very much for your feedback

On this old phone, did you uninstall Vinted before using it for another account?

Do you have an idea of the order of magnitude?

Yes, all applications had been uninstalled when I changed phones last summer…

So you uninstalled everything, turned the phone off and on again. Then reinstalled Vinted and they still blocked you immediately??

That’s exactly it, yes

I admit you haven’t been lucky

there is an online app that tells you what your IP address is, and you should know that it changes very often. Furthermore, your operator (Free or Orange) can change your IP address with a simple phone call.
