Personally, I post about fifteen ads a day with a private account, but in a category really focused on second-hand (vintage comic books). So far, no problem, I’m waiting for the information from my previous banned professional account (explicit content) to be deleted to switch this one to professional (and thus be completely within the rules). And if I get banned again, I’ll switch back to private in the meantime
. But it’s clear that compared to eBay, it’s difficult to project yourself as a professional with this automated moderation.
I’m on other sources:
Since the Vinted update, there have been a lot of accounts blocked for 3 to 7 days following reposts.
The current repost system from solutions like Clemz are all obsolete because Vinted’s bot now detects micro variations on reposts better and penalizes more easily than before.
If you still use the same frame on multiple items, there is also a risk apparently.
And worse, if you use saved photos from one account to publish them on another account, you have a high risk of being blocked.
Good evening!
Thank you very much for the very transparent sharing, it’s very interesting!
It clearly shows that it’s important to take small steps at the beginning.
We are observing changes, but rather on duplicates at the moment, but we lack information to draw real conclusions.
Regarding the last point, Vinted has had the ability to detect similar items from one wardrobe to another for several months (even a year now, time is passing a bit quickly at the moment
). This is why we recommend when you import your items to another wardrobe to modify your photos well (via Clemz to save time.)
Hello Thank you very much for sharing, it’s very informative. I wanted to know how you handle declarations for your accounts, because it seems to me that « one account = one identity »? I’m asking myself this question because in my case I have 3 accounts, mine and those of my 2 parents, and so I don’t know how to declare theirs, knowing that it’s their tax form that is attached. All 3 accounts are personal, but I’m the one with the sole proprietorship in my name. I’m asking you this question because you seem much further along. Thanks in advance
I also share my experience on reposts:
My account was blocked at the end of August. I started a new one at the end of last year. I’m posting slowly (manually for now). Until then, it was mostly new listings.
Once I reposted an old one, but it wasn’t yet 7 months old on Vinted. So I got a restriction.
For the listings that followed, I took the time to crop them a bit to repost them. And again, a restriction for duplicate listings.
Where cropping was enough to have the same listing twice on Vinted (in my case, on my old account and on my new one), well, it doesn’t work anymore
or it must be much more pronounced ![]()
vinted also hunts down multiple accounts. Don’t underestimate them on this point. A 5-year-old could find the connections. So when you annoy Demerzel, she’ll twist your neck. One personal account, one professional account, no selling of new items, no selling of crafts or counterfeits, discreet and spread-out reposts. Be discreet yourself to avoid exciting the haters (cf. those who flaunt their numbers, strategies, etc.). I saw an account, Jaioi I think, with 20,000 items. They don’t seem to be bothered.
Where eBay states that there is no problem opening multiple accounts to differentiate sales themes. And their multi-account hunting procedure is completely archaic. A group of students sharing a flat, they share the same internet box, go ahead, they risk being considered as multi-accounts (I had the problem with my wife)
A message was merged into an existing topic: Vinted multi-accounts + reported images → Solutions?
Yes, Vinted pays close attention to multiple accounts! Jaiio.fr does have a large account, indeed, but it’s a professional one…
yes and me with my daughter. I also find it nonsense. Their problem is that they based their communication on « responsible » exclusivity, proximity, blah blah blah. Now going back is complicated. I would be curious to meet their strategy director ![]()
but how do they avoid being bothered by Vinted? because in reality they do the same as us
Personally, what I would have done, Friptadium, to be left alone, I would have quickly recreated a company and simply reposted my ads on the company. That way, you would have been left alone. Because now, you have created four personal accounts.
Apparently, you can create four personal accounts with the same last name, same address, same date of birth, provided the IBANs are different. But you’ll end up with four tax returns at the end of the year.
And the tax authorities’ artificial intelligence, I think today, will start making deductions and groupings.
And I’m not sure it can last in the long term. So it’s a short-term improvement, but perhaps hell again in the long term.
I’m not sure I understood correctly. What do you mean by « they do the same as us »? In what way?
they sell second-hand clothing, they republish their ads etc
Oh yes!
I don’t know if they are not annoyed by Vinted though ![]()
I don’t have any sources on this ![]()
Of course, did you change your router’s IP address (or call the operator) for each account? And did you disable Wi-Fi? As well as changing your name each time?
and advised to go very slowly the first week. No account crossing during the first two weeks.
Each phone has its SIM card and network, no Wi-Fi
For changing the name, what do you mean?
Account merging?
Change of name (with a different IBAN): one account with S Dupont and the other with Stephane Dupont. Account cross-referencing: the same items sold, the same IBAN, and perhaps the same bank with the same address, which can be observed by cross-referencing accounts.
So what is the solution
