Account suspended for the 3rd time, for suspected commercial sales, although I switched to Vinted PRO precisely for this reason

It’s THEIR platform. These people we meet in real life are bitter and mean. Everything is owed to them. I’m one of those people who often refuse to negotiate

So I went to download my data following my ban and to my great surprise, very few reports for 2026:

There were still some who didn’t wait 2 days to report my personal account where I had put about 100 ads to wait for the reopening.

pure malice. Borderline harassment because it’s someone stalking you. People with no life have the time and energy to harm others.

I still suspect competition. Anyway, I don’t give much for the long-term activity of people who have energy to spend on that.

It kills me, there are so many more, I feel like! Mine looks like this, yummy reports. When we’re not hurting anyone, we’re even making Vinted money, and I ONLY have positive reviews, all my customers are delighted… it’s tiring after a while

6 reports in 5 minutes is suspicious, isn’t it?

someone who is persistent

Vinted would do things right, they would control when someone reports massively or when there is suddenly a massive wave of reports. Because, you know, abusive reports are also harmful to the platform in the absolute.

It’s staggering. As we said earlier, surely a jealous person who has nothing better to do with their life, and who struggles to sell, I imagine.

I’ve seen posts where Vintees received a warning for abusive reports. Have those who frequent FB groups heard about it? Wouldn’t even reporting the risk calm down some of the crazy clickers?

personally I’ve never seen anyone complain about it so I don’t know how far it goes

unfortunately since that’s all they have to do, I doubt it will bear fruit, even if it’s a good idea, I admit

Like many things, the platform is still responsible for these kinds of situations. If they actually controlled reports like eBay does (they are not that stupid, before losing a seller who brings them money they check a minimum), the practice would stop on its own since people would see they are wasting their time. Here, Vinted almost thanks them for being scum.

Hello,

I understand your frustration so much.

I am experiencing the exact same problem and everything you describe, I am living it exactly the same way. It’s incomprehensible because we went pro to be able to sell peacefully, we waste a crazy amount of time and our energy creating listings only to be restricted a few days later, resulting in significant financial loss, and then we have to start all over again. I am exhausted, especially since this is my only source of income.

My advice, I’ve noticed that as soon as we highlight the storefront or boost items, we either get reported or Vinted restricts us. For my part, I will not do it anymore.

It’s super infuriating, I can relate! I just got my account back, I’m being super careful now and I’m almost afraid to post items lol. I post like 3/4 max in the morning and 2/3 in the evening. No more than that, same here I try not to modify too many listings in a short amount of time. I also put more items as new.

On another note, I learned that apparently « mass selling » can be triggered if you post an item on Vinted and another on eBay with the same photos, so now I’m careful about that too.

And like you, I’ve stopped buying the showcase feature. 3 times I was suspended I had just paid for the showcase, so I lost my investment. I’m crossing my fingers that all my precautions are enough and that I can sell peacefully!

Good luck to you!

It’s the same for me. I just got my account back today and I plan to take it easy.
For now, I’ve only posted one ad. Tomorrow I’ll post two, then three, then four, adding one more ad each day for at least ten days, just to be vigilant, stay discreet and avoid detection.

On my end, I’ll download my data every day to check for any reports or mass sales. Then, when I feel secure enough, I’ll switch to less frequent downloads, once a week, or even every two weeks.

I’m also no longer spending my money to promote my shop windows or boost items only to be restricted. Frankly, it’s a real shame we can’t be free, when the whole point of switching to a professional account is to make it our business.

Good luck anyway, we’re really in the same :poop:

how can you see if people are reporting you to block them? I did not know

In your profile, you can request to download your personal data, and inside you will find a folder containing it.

Same here! I 100% understand those who are staying with a personal account.

Personally, I would have liked to remain as a private account, it’s annoying to wait 15 days to be paid, but I was forced to switch to a professional account because « I was selling too much. »

It’s a pain during the first few weeks, but after that, a routine sets in.
