Pro account blocked due to "offering for commercial purposes"

It has also been reported that groups are forming on social networks by individuals who do not want pros on Vinted and who are organizing mass reporting actions to have accounts closed.

In order to maintain the mandatory politeness on a forum, I will refrain from expressing my true thoughts about such people.

Because there are far too many, it is not in their interest to block so many people who are as ill-intentioned as they can be. Since it is also not in their interest to block too many professional sellers, they are just targeting a portion that accumulates a bit more reports (justified or not).
So it’s risky for each of us, there’s not much to do, other than not depending completely on Vinted.

It doesn’t surprise me too much, I even see « bloggers » writing articles to « reveal » a scam: users selling on Vinted for professional purposes… It makes you wonder if they’ve ever spent an hour on Vinted…

I sincerely don’t believe Vinted can function without professional sellers, and I’m not afraid to state that Vinted would no longer even have a predominantly high-quality listing catalog.

The more sellers there are, the more likely there is a reduced price for buyers. After that, it’s possible to have purist actions with the policy of « It’s second-hand, not new business… »

they can but they would lose a share. many people buy via bots too, that’s a lot, a lot of sales. to individuals who will therefore continue to sell items. it’s a cycle.

There are also professionals who work with suppliers. we drain people and sales, favorites, in short, activity.

23 million accounts yes, but how many are active? few. putting an item on there in a week then letting it sleep and sink in the rankings, there are millions of them.

I could have access to certain lots of new items, I admit that I’m not very tempted to put them online, or drop by drop. 2/3% max of the total volume.

For reports, that has always existed. or red ratings. jealousy and denunciation have always worked well in France, historically.

send regular emails to vinted@vinted.fr with different reasons each time, like you don’t understand why you can no longer access your account, you seem to have been hacked, don’t mention blocking but hacking  it happens that people who reply to you don’t look any further and unblock your account.

Okay, I’ve just been suspended for exactly the same reason, for the 3rd time in a row!!! It makes no sense and you can’t reach anyone, it’s super frustrating. Especially since everything I sell is already sold by a ton of other sellers, who aren’t professionals. I’m not that type, but I could have fun reporting a ton of profiles, it’s exhausting, no kidding.
