Hello, I’m seeing more and more people saying their accounts are recently being blocked for using third-party software. Has something changed? Is Vinted getting better at spotting them?

Yes, I confirm that on different Facebook groups, I see many being blocked because of republication bots.

The problem is that they never answer the question « what software do you use? »
Is it really for republication? (meaning: they don’t dare to say it’s for buying and selling bots)

Which is why I still have serious doubts.
Given the number of users here, we would already have feedback if republications were really causing problems.

Hello, what is a buy-sell bot? I received a message saying there was suspicion of software and violation of their terms. There is nothing like that, I don’t even know what this software story is. I sell a lot of children’s books mainly. It’s not buy-sell since they are the children’s books to buy others.

Resale bots automatically buy items as soon as they are listed to catch bargains first.
The problem is that Vinted has implemented a security measure: if you buy an item « too » quickly, you can be considered a bot. Some say they received the message after buying an item within 1 to 5 minutes of its publication on Vinted.
Thank you for the information, it may have been the case indeed, it corresponds to a specific search or I was certainly very quick to buy. I will be careful, and yet I buy little, not used to this kind of thing.

Even less time. I had tested it by putting on the resellers’ favorite brand: the Ralph Lauren sweater. In a few seconds it was taken, then canceled. I put it back on sale, same thing, etc.
You have to be careful not to do anything while Clemz is working, otherwise it can lead to too many operations at the same time.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve started republishing with clemz again for a few days without any issues. However, I don’t use automatic messages. On Facebook, people say they are getting blocked for sending the same message multiple times. It might be good to have the option to make offers without an attached message.

Vinted allows sending a message as soon as you have a notification from the buyer.
This is not considered spam in this case.
