I had written to a seller for additional information.
After a week (message « seen »), without a response, I asked them to let me know if they were not responding to requests so that I could remove their item from my favorites and stop bothering them.
I did this, after being reproached by someone accusing me of not having followed up (sic!).
So this 2nd message, a reminder in a way, was also « seen » but I wonder if the other person hasn’t blocked me because when I went back to the message, the writing field disappeared. … I thought that in case of a block, the blocker’s profile would no longer be accessible, their items less visible, and that it would be impossible to write to them. However, I can do all of that except write to them; an error message appears suggesting I try again and if the problem persists to contact support.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
I just want to understand if this is a block.
Even if it’s just a technical issue, I won’t contact the seller again; I promise

Hello, I think this is a technical issue. Normally, when someone blocks you or you block them, you can no longer see their closet, send messages, or see their listings.

Hello, I recently blocked a Vinted user who sold me a counterfeit item. I can still see her account, her items for sale… (she still sells counterfeit items despite my reports to Vinted). It just says « you have blocked this member » under her username. I just tried and I can’t send her a message, I can’t buy but I can make offers lollll

Indeed, when someone blocks you, you can still see their ads in their closet (a bit silly because if we are victims of harassment, the person can still report us)

Thank you Floco. I don’t understand those who block just because they don’t want to answer. In another thread, someone admitted to doing it. In any case, in my case, I don’t think I harassed or attacked the seller. But indeed, since I always access his profile, I could block him too. But what’s the point. I will contact support to understand if it’s a block or a bug.
