Banned from Vinted because of Clemz?

Hello,

I have several questions, I don’t know if there are already topics.

  1. Can the application be downloaded in Belgium? (Someone tried but couldn’t).
  2. Have you ever been banned from Vinted using Clemz? (I saw comments on Facebook groups that people were banned using the app).
  3. Have you noticed any increase in your sales since using the app?

Thank you for your answers.

Hello!
Welcome to the forum!

The Clemz extension is available in Belgium, yes! Some of our clients are Belgian.
Regarding the ban, I invite you to check Clemz’s reviews on the Chrome Store: www.clemz.app/extension
You will see that no one is talking about bans: you can imagine that if someone had lost their account because of Clemz, they would not have hesitated to talk about it here

On the last point… I will let the community speak :hugs:

Hello!

For my part, I took the application to save time. More than a thousand listings to renew at least once a month, it’s very tedious to do it manually. Clearly, it took me several hours a day. Time lost means money lost and the inability to dedicate it to anything else!

Therefore, yes, the application also helps me sell more often.

exactly the same
and when I have republications left, I take the opportunity to put things back in order, like having articles from the same range together.

Hello,
I have already read the posts you are talking about on the fb groups with people who talk about being banned because of Clemz… these people talk about someone who knows someone who knows someone… who used Clemz and got banned  I read and hesitated for a long time, then I finally contacted some people from these groups directly via messenger (those who dared to say they used Clemz) and I subscribed to Clemz!
It’s a valuable help for reposts and messages to favorites for me, a real time saver
Have a nice day!

Thank you for this testimony @Sev!

Yes, we have always investigated every case of a person claiming to have been banned because of Clemz, and there has NEVER been a clear case.
Each time, it was related either to the Vinted bot deciding that an ad was fake (which also happens without using Clemz), or people who had commercial practices (too many sales of new items), etc.
For the moment, I consider Clemz to be safe. But we won’t lie to you: this could very well change one day…

Thank you all for your very positive responses and your testimonies reassure me. It’s true that for the banned people, they were in Facebook groups, so unfounded, but they had left me perplexed.

I like the Clemz app, it’s very practical for everyday use.

Let’s say when I read on FB that someone is on their 28th account on Vinted in 3 years because of their bot, I still doubt that it’s someone who has carefully read Vinted’s T&Cs.

Hello everyone,

It turns out I’ve been using clemz lately. I republished 50 articles yesterday, and today I can’t log in to Vinted on Google. Error 403, which means a ban on this browser. So yes, we can get banned because of clemz, I suppose. So, I’m not permanently banned, but I no longer have access to Vinted on Google, only through the mobile app now.

Regards

I’m having the same issue, I can’t use Chrome since a captcha problem where I got a code 0 instead of all the lines. Firefox and smartphones work. And I have the issue with the professional account which transmitted the same problem to my personal account.

Several people are reporting an issue opening Vinted on Chrome since yesterday. While there are no issues with Mozilla. If you were banned, Vinted is not known for being subtle, so you wouldn’t be able to log in regardless of the device or browser. And Clemz works on the phone, so it doesn’t seem to be the problem.

If it’s definitely coming from clemz, I only use clemz on Chrome, as luck would have it, it’s the only browser I can no longer access, coincidence? I don’t think so. It might not be Vinted themselves who blocked me, and fortunately, otherwise yes, I would be banned everywhere, but oh well.

I tested by removing Clemz from Chrome and the problem is still there

Hello, I have the same problem, it doesn’t work on Chrome, otherwise everything else is okay. But without Chrome, how can I use Clemz?
Thank you

Thanks for the info, that saves me from testing unnecessarily

I’m using the phone in the meantime

Hello everyone,
It does seem that some users are encountering an issue this weekend on Vinted, however, not everyone appears to be affected. (I can access it on my end)

Here are a few small steps to try:

  • Clear your cookies
  • Exit the browser via the menu
  • If that doesn’t change anything, try using incognito/private browsing (by enabling Clemz beforehand Extensions → Manage extensions → On the Clemz extension « details » → scroll down and enable the option « Allow in incognito »)

If you have an Android, you can use the Yandex browser.

Keep us updated on your attempts :slightly_smiling_face:

Small info, it’s not even Chrome that’s the problem, it’s my Wi-Fi. I connected using my phone’s hotspot on the computer and Vinted worked again on Chrome, so I really think it’s because of clemz, I got my Wi-Fi IP address banned.

but that would also block on other browsers if it were the IP address, right?

Hello,

Indeed, I just did the test when I share my internet connection from my phone, it works.

@Lucile do you have a solution to this problem please?

Thanks
